Why monero price increase 50% this week?

Probably because monero is being listed at a new exchange, a china based exchange. Not only 50%, it's over a 100%.

its actually more like 300% was $45 a week ago. but i have no idea why.

It seems that the OP did not read the pinned threads and this thread will be moved to speculation section.

This speculation is due to the rumor of the possible add of Monero in the bithumb exchanger.

Because it will high likely be listed on bithumb, it is now $140 but the chart tells me don't buy it, it will crash after a while it is listed on bithumb

ɱ is backed and supported by all the BTC early adopters, the old hodlers and pretty much most of the known figure heads of crypto sphere. for about 5 months they mined and accumulated steadily to avoid sudden pump of the price, and now they have enough of the supply in their bags now is the time to pump it hard, when you pump a coin by 50% the rest is pushed by others. try it yourself, first pump any coin by 50% and see how it'll rise by another 50% the following days.

Because it was applied in a new exchange. And the persons are interested to buy anonymous coins, like Monero, Dash and hopefully DeepOnions in some time. ;)

I'm not surprised caused by the monero already listed on the chinese exchange site but i think that you can see a lot of thje coin already listed on the because the hype is not for the long time, and you can try to buy them again in the future with the cheap price. Monaco as a good example for that.

Because every crapcoin had x10+ in spring 2017, Monero grew only as much Bitcoin grew. Not more. So now we finally have that correction to put Monero back on rank.5 on marketcap.  Bithub listening just triggered this. Monero will have important and good news till end of year regularly.

this often happens when coins are listed in tese exchanges in asia...
