Is it possible to the currency to strike high by next year just as last year? I was wondering how could the currency change and by what means or the reason of it?

Yes there is a possibility next year bitcoin price reaches 5000 $ ,, and in my opinion bitcoin price increase because more and more buyers, while bitcoin stock is very limited .. That's what makes bitcoin prices rise from year to year, as more and more people are interested in bitcoin

There has been huge demand for the bitcoins and mainly they are new buyers. As people are keep buying bitcoins; there has been constant demand and limited availability of the bitcoins, which could be the main reason for the huge increase in the price of the bitcoins.

Speculation topic. Price getting increase from the last time segwit2x activation on August 1st. Most of the people expect that time to find the dip to buy the bitcoin they can but surprisingly price started increase and touch the peak value. Will see higher value in upcoming events.

This is not the only speculation.

Simply because supply is limited and demand is still growing. Each year more and more people are buying bitcoins for their own purposes. And I'm sire that it will grow even bigger and btc still have a lot of unreleased potential.

no, it is not gonna stick its price like that, its price depends on the exchanges and on mining. everything is related here so if tomorrow someone decides to sell 10bitcoins for 10$ each, of course, it is gonna crash the whole market price, and if someone tried to sell Bitcoin's in the higher price and people also buy it then the market price will be changed too.bitcoin price is always rising because the mining difficulty is increasing every day

Bitcoin price is set by the market. Because sellers are selling at $X and buyers are willing to buy at $X. Simply demand and supply  :D

Since there are still some BIPs, there are a lot of proposals on how to develop more bitcoin. People or users of bitcoin especially the old ones want bitcoin to develop, and they are seeing that in a few months. The more development they see, the more they will be investing and will create a big effect on the price of bitcoin. So expect that there will be a big changes in.the end of the year.

it is the adoption that started booming with Japanese regulations for bitcoin and then it followed up by a lot of similar news from all over the world. then it was followed by the activation of SegWit and all this put bitcoin on the radar.
wherever you look this days you can see people talking about bitcoin. that increases the adoption and price.
this is the "why" of it.

and it is just starting up. you can expect a lot more rises and bigger rises in the future as this process speeds up. 10K is not far.

The number of BIPs does not matter. The number of ways we can develop Bitcoin does not matter. Whether everybody can agree and implement a BIP is what is important. We have seen what happened during the scaling debate.

The popularity of BTC is increasing that is the only reason why BTC is still increasing, if the majority know bitcoin it will pump to the highest possible price.

This is a phenomen of modern economy. Developed countries have many alternative investment opportunities, underdeveloped or politically unstable countries (as we know the number of such countries is big) may not have such opportunities and, perhaps, more inclined to invest in digital currency. In those places where there is no reliable dollar or the Euro, citizens may resent and not trust their financial institutions. In this case cryptocurrency is a real advantage and a refuge. All that makes people to move on bitcoin, for protection and more confident future. In the result the price for bitcoin is growing.

It is really possible to see the another ATH for all of the crypto, Because you must know that the truth if the crypto not yet adopted by a lot of people in our life. If they are knowing about that and it can be a huge growth for the crypto industry. The bitcoin growth will give a lot of impact.

On the stock market sometimes a stock goes way above its estimated value, just because it is rising.
A trend sometimes has its own will.
The people look back and see how much a certain stock has improved in value and everybody believes that this will keep on going for a while. Sot they buy and buy.
With bitcoin it is a similar mechanism I think.
But what I can not tell is where a fair price for one bitcoin could be settled. I would not even know where to begin with such an estimation.

Perhaps the popularity of Bitcoin will have a very good effect on the current situation, but I have yet to learn more about what is to be seen in the near future. A lot of talk about the next split Bitcoin and how it will happen no one will know. After the last double on August 1, little has changed.
