Title: Re: [WTS] Casascius All Silver 10 BTC [MS-68] Post by: Blazed on August 27, 2017, 03:44:06 PM Interesting to see current premium for 10s Yeah, I am also curious with how the market has been. If this were my coin I would just hold it and let all these other free coins accumulate over the next few years. The bcash alone is worth roughly 1.3BTC good luck with that - a ~5.5BTC (~22k) premium is pretty steep. The 1BTC silver/gilt coins tend to go for a ~1BTC premium Title: Re: [WTS] Casascius All Silver 10 BTC [MS-68] Post by: Blazed on August 29, 2017, 01:49:25 AM ::) The owner is asking for 17BTC for this coin. The 1BTC silver/gilt coins tend to go for a ~1BTC premium Yeah but these coins command a much higher premium than a single. Apples and oranges. By that case you pay a 100% premium, the offer price is 70% premium for the 10. So you can bend numbers any which way. Either way the last public sale of these i think went for 16.5btc so 17 for this 68 is about spot on to the price right now Title: Re: [WTS] Casascius All Silver 10 BTC [MS-68] Post by: zanzibar on August 29, 2017, 03:29:19 PM The owner is asking for 17BTC for this coin. I'm sure it won't be much longer before naypalm has the BCC amounts added to the coins in the Casascius Analyzer. Can't fault people for mentioning the additional funds. It's worth noting. You have to at some point... Take a look at a Casascius 25BTC coin. Most recent sales have been between 26.5 - 27BTC. The current peel value is now over the original buy price... Personally I will peel a Cas 25 redeem whatever shitcoins I get free and then sell it peeled. I look at Casacius and other coins in a different way, never with the intention to peel them but rather hand them down or sell for BTC. Title: Re: [WTS] Casascius All Silver 10 BTC [MS-68] Post by: Bitcoinwaist on August 30, 2017, 02:18:49 PM Premiums are going to go higher. There are more coins for sale on ebay nowadays. More people have paypal than bitcoin so there is a larger pool of potential buyers rather than just here.

Agree...The buyer has more protection than the seller..especially with loaded crypto coins Title: Re: [WTS] Casascius All Silver 10 BTC [MS-68] Post by: Bitcoinwaist on August 30, 2017, 03:04:54 PM Premiums are going to go higher. I agree But when i see fiat buyers on ebay paying $40 for a satori coin that tells me they either have money to burn or its not an object. I cant see anyone here paying that price. So there are different markets out there. So i guess what im trying to say is premiums here are different than other places. So a 5.5btc premium on this coin here may sound crazy but on ebay or somewhere else it may be a good deal. Doesn't matter, very few people are going to spend $70k+ on Bitcoin (physical or not), whether it's paypal or BTC. I would argue that premiums are higher when priced in BTC and we all here are willing to spend more BTC on these coins, because we hodl. It tells me that they operate multiple ebay accounts, so that they can buy their own coin when nobody else wants it, in order to create the appearance of a market. Go ahead and spend some time digging through completed Casascius auctions on ebay. Take a look at the bidders. They're mostly ****'d out, but there's enough info there to make it plainly obvious what's happening. You're fuckin nuts buying OR selling a Casascius on ebay. Title: Re: [WTS] Casascius All Silver 10 BTC [MS-68] Post by: Lincoln6Echo on August 30, 2017, 05:45:09 PM It is not even possible to sell physical bitcoin on regular ebay where I am living. :D
It is more like an insertion so that you can't bid on the items as a buyer. Instead you have to contact the person through PM. Good luck to anyone selling on there. There's absolutely no way in hell I'd ever do it in a month of Sundays. Casascius coins are now serious money regardless of denomination. Given EBay's hopelessness for sellers the ante has been upped to unacceptable levels. I'm amazed anyone risks it.
