Title: Why so delay?
Post by: ScaryMe on August 27, 2017, 07:26:14 AM
Hi everyone,
I would like to ask if it is really like this, I have an account in coinbase.com, I found it hard to make transactions, to transfer my money, it is just in pending, it took so long hours.
Do you experience the same thing?
How long did you experienced?

I am just afraid of my money because there is no transaction code given to me or the hash.

Are you sending the transaction off the chain or on the chain? By off the chain I mean you're sending transactions into other coinbase user. And by on the chain that means you're actually sending bitcoin to another address (except coinbase address) if it's on the chain transactions there's nothing that you can do because bitcoin block's is full and therefore your transaction is queuing on the blockchain.

You need to be worried, because now bitcoin transactions are slow
But the time for confirmations it depend too on how much fee you have payed
I use localbitcoin wallet and i dont have problem, in max 1 hour all confirmations are completed, but the fees are a little high

You do not need to be worry mate, everything will be fine, it is just like the block is fully loaded but for sure transactions will be fine soonest, especially when you pay high fee for your transactions and you put your correct email for that.. Anyway good luck mate.

Currently most of members facing this problem not only in Coinbase on some other exchanges also because BlockChain is very slow taking too much time to confirming transactions its issue with some because they want money very urgently but cannot do any thing but for money its not matter of worry because your money is safe

Take a look at this thread. You are definitely not alone here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2140892.0

I have experienced this personally, sometimes the transactions just stay pending for hours on end and they never even tell you when they are going to send the transaction. You can refund it into your account either which really sucks.

When you message support, there is usually no response until a week later when they finally process your transaction.

I would stay away from coinbase until they get their shit together. This is unacceptable.

I guess coinbase is so safe, it is just a matter of time to deal on because the volume of blockchain users are getting bulk and bulk. BUt do not worry money will run directly to you.

Yes I believe it just a matter of time because of too much demand uses by its users. We cannot blame the coinbase itself but the blockchain that process the confirms the transactions. I guess if you pay high fee money will come along so fast in your wallet.

Theres nothing to worry on that kind of pending transactions because it will be sent later on (which do really suck if you are in a rush) this is why I don't use them anymore. When you do make transactions it will not really provide you any hashes and shows "pending" state it means its still on hold. Sometimes they are like this sometimes they do send directly.

coinbase is still safe for trading, at least for now. Your transaction is just taking its time to confirm. Give it some time, they will come good.
