Title: Is BTC's bi-weekly difficulty change capped? Post by: jorrit on August 27, 2017, 10:52:52 AM BTC's difficulty is adjusted every two weeks so that a block can be solved in 10 minutes. Is there a maximum change for a single 2 week period? The reason I ask is that after BCC I expected to see larger drop in difficulty to compensate for loss in hash rate.
