My account is blocked for no reason, my mobile is with me whole day and i have been using the app the whole day.

Out of no where the app say blocked,

When i called customer care , they want me to wait for 24 hours alleging that i initiated forget password which i did not do in the first place.

Who on earth blocks an app for initiating forget password

Zebay have no right to block and make my funds inaccessible for no reason for whichever period Zebpay wishes

I was planning to buy today since prices were expected to go high tomorrow, they ruined my plans

Customer support can't take any action or come up with a solution as they are trained like human answering machines where they themselves say they can't do anything as it is in the back-end.

Wondering whether if they can't even have a mechanism to verify customer instead we need to suffer having funds locked for no reason

Zebay customer support and ticketing system has no publically accessible escalation matrix too.

So i had no place to bring it up, except here.

strange , did you try their support email or even phone number, try contcting them directly.,

i n ver had such issue, but i never used forget my password.

maybe its their way of protecting you from hack attempets.
but imho its poor practice.

i even mailed them to allow lower than 1k transactions to buy btc .

may be you would be using a rooted phone and could have 2 accounts on same device, could be the reason

Well, The picture clearly says that your account was blocked for security purposes and you will receive a message within the time given by app.
Wait and tell us if anything happens.

The same issue was happened me also some week back due to worring pin number entered, so my account was blocked for 24 hours, after that I called to customer care than my account unblocked.

My account is blocked for no reason, my mobile is with me whole day and i have been using the app the whole day.

The issue happened to me also when I was waiting to buy bitcoin on low price since the psychological resistance at 18000$ was about to be breached. The zebpay team blocked my account for no reason at all.
Sent support ticket, no reply yet. Because of them I lost out on making some good bucks.
Zebpay are not trustworthy as per my experience.

I have heard this problem from a lot of people and  thus it appears to be a common issue. You should try contacting the support more frequently or switch to another platform like unocoin.
