Please give your opinion for Ripple's XRP price at the end of the year 2017.

Maybe add a less than .50 option and a greater than $6 option.

I voted $2.  I've seen some recent reports that the stock market is looking at billions being withdrawn for purposes of re-allocation into crypto. 

Get ready, because IMO a high percentage of those are going to be retail investors.

Total market cap will be close to Litecoin now. Make the calculations to see the price, I'm too lazy to do it myself.

I went with $2, but I'm thinking more along the lines of $1 is realistic.

I don't like how centralized it is, but I think the establishment is starting to get behind it, so I've got a small stash of it.

Ripple is a great coin, with huge use case, but the supply is very huge, over 38billion tokens, however $1 is more realistic than 2$

Nodes don't get anything for running the network. That makes it centralized, because no one cares unless they can make money on it.

The max price i can expect is just $0,40 or $0,30 at the end of the year, lets be realistic people.. it is pretty impossible to see a $2 price in just 3 months, and it is ripple, i have never seen an altcoin that grows so slowly...
But i have a little hope about this coin, maybe we can see a $0,50 or maybe more, but we can not expect too much.. It went from $0,20 to $0,40 in two days and now it is closing under $0,19

Yes, this is the issue of nods, they run the network, but they don't get anything. In the other systems, nod are getting paid for their effort. The price can be higher than $0.1 because the manipulation level in ripple is very high. Trading players are in ripple.

in my prediction ripple price get $0.5-$0.6 in next month, maybe in last years get $0.4 because btc price going up.

Not much different from today. May vary a little if it is in the middle of a pump or dump but the equilibrium point still will be the same.

Anywhere between $0.4 and $0.8, every coin except ripple has increased lastly so it won't be surprising to see ripple making x3 before 2018.

I heard that soon this coin will be introduced into the Indian market. This can cause a sharp increase in prices.
I believe in this coin and bought it for storage.

My suggestion regarding XRP coin price should be 10 $ because a big load case used

XRP as the 4th largest market capitalization of about 7 billion USD today at a current price of .20 USD, so if ever if it gives a 20 billion USD market cap then the probable prediction price will be within .5 to .6 USD, which is still viable. a 1$ to 2$ is too much high for a price this year.

For speculation, I think one should first try to arrive at the market share that ripple can command of the total cyptocurrency market cap.

I would not expect it to command more than 10% of the total cypto market cap.

also taking into consideration 38 bllion current supply and a total supply of 100 billion, for ripple to touch .50 USD total market cap has to touch atleast 200 Billion USD.

For this year, 40 cents should be tops if the supply remains at 38 billion or there about.

You're probably right.

I would'nt suggest any person to invest into ripple because it's mostly controlled by one company.
There are so many encouraging ideas around here that could have much higher returns than XRP.

At 6 USD, the market cap of Ripple alone would be 240 Billion USD. To put that into perspective, the market cap of all crypto combined today (including Ripple) is 161 USD Billion.
So, if I am sure about one thing in the world, that would be Ripple wont touch that price.

The thread is of ripple price prediction by year end 2017. So, when I said "Ripple wont touch that price" it was for this time period. Sure, in a decade or 2 ripple can touch that price or beyond when the cryptocurrency becomes 2-3 trillion industry.

I also factored in the 1 billion xrp that ripple can withdraw every month. However, going by the past stats, they are withdrawing about 300 million ripple and not 1 billion xrp. So with another 4 months left till the end of the year.. I added another 1.2 billion ripple to the current supply to arrive at the figure of 250 billion USD @ 6 USD price.

Impossible to predict.

If China central bank which is in talks with Ripple according todays announcement, pick Ripple, the value will go so high nobody can predict. China banks have the biggest market in the world!

In addition when Ripple lock down the 55 billion XRPs in escrows the value will shoot up. This will happen this year.

Then we will see skyrocket value increase when RippleNet goes live for the first time. Also promised to happen this year.

$0.22 is just a tiny fraction of the value XRP will have soon. Will surpass Ethereum easily and will go past Bitcoin eventually  8)

I expect something like 20 cents rise in Ripple price this year as well. Ripple's centralized nature will balance out its price always in future.

let me guess... :-) well i don't know if this will be regulation year, maybe 2018 is best suited for this position but who knows, one sure thing is that xrp is an hybrid in respect of other crypto because of links with traditional financial insitutions, that can be the strong or the weak point, or the same at the same time!

I'll go with $2 till the end of 2017. Ripple is a great coin and adopted widely, but they have a huge supply of over 38 billion tokens.

I think ripple will go around 8k sats will not make a new ath by the end of this year. There are so much hype happen to ripple the past months and I think it will have hard time to surpass the ATH.

Well here whom I know are quite positive regarding this coins. They think this could provide some good returns till year end and for next year. So people are buying as this is very cheap at the present scenario. Even if it rises to 1 or 2$ by year end its a good profits booked in couple of months. Though at present scenario its more stable at existing price and not much movement happening.

today in indonesia ripple price almost hit 0.7 $, its growing fast here, check on vip.bitcoin.co.id may be 1 $ next january 2018

Max. 1 dollar to this year ! and no one knows when it will dump due to huge supply ! lets hope for the best for 2$ in 2018
but if you like XRP  then i prefer to keep on Hodl till it will move to 5-10$

I don't think even it will touch beyond the decimals. Maximum of $1 can be my expectation. Their business is moving the money across the border so it will give a spike only if they expand their service and depends up on the customer entry to the ripple a money transfer source. Also if they signed up with different banks in order expand their business may leads to some growth.
Remember Money transfer too have a competition and ripple need to show some better offers to get attention more
Prediction should be something correlating the real things.

my friend encourage me to buy ripple when it was 0.29 bought 100usd only ..my friend bought ripple when it was 0.12 he got almost 50,000 xrp and he said it was waste of investment so he sold anyway... everytime i see him im just laughing at him he just nod...hahahahaha.cant imagine how much money when he invested 8000 usd.. today it cost almost 150,000 usd.i should invest more when it was still low price...
my prediction .30 to .50 per week increase so by july it will be 12 to 15 usd..maybe im wrong
but im seeing this pattern since november...

It looks like XRP will rise much higher again. But if buying now seemed already too high and thus necessarily require greater capital to high profits.  ;)
