Out of curiousity, I want to ask, "Which are your favorite altcoins?"

Edit: I'd say DOGE, LITECOIN, and EOS. DOGE isn't really for investing, I used to exchange for them due to high BTC transaction fees and slow confirmation time. List outdated, will be changing soon.

Well, I started with Ohm (Hence the Name). I haven't really had the time to contribute to the team anymore but they're still sticking to it. I've recently taken a liking to DeepOnion. I tried doing Bratcoin but volume seems to be too low for my taste and same goes for Espers2. It's hard to find coins that align with your beliefs yet execute well on the market.

Power Ledger is very promising too

Doge used to be my favorite altcoin too, but just like fashion, it disappeared. Now my favorite coin is Ethereum. You can do anything with it. Ethereum based ERC-20 tokens made us good money, how can I not like Ethereum? Thank you Vitalik for this opportunity. You made us all rich.

My favorite coin is firstly Bitcoin. Then second choose is Ethereum, 3rd choose is waves. Then i also like to hold Decent, NEO, BCC and wings. All of coin that i mention has a good future and all of them has good team and they are hard worker. Your favorite coin is doge and lite coin. lite coin is good one coin but Doge did not a good coin.Its has huge supply so don't invest your  money in doge.

Litecoin obviously. Good and active developer team. Doge is a good coin but nothing special about it. For me, this is just a dead coin being revive by pump and dump community or group. Also the circulating supply is just too huge. 100 billion circulating coins, that's too many shitcoin and they are adding another 5.256 billion coins every year. That's why we see that there's no progress on its price.

Decred (DCR) is my favorite, the first and only altcoin which successfully implemented a community base governance into its blockchain. Also, the proposal system and lightning network coming for this sleeping giant before the year ends.  

The doge coin already worthless due to the stopped development about the future of dogecoin.

The litecoin might have better future because it can be considered as a good coin than bitcoin cash with the longest transaction.

But i'd like with all of the token based on the ethereum platform and especially with the ethereum that already my favorite altcoin.

I like Byteball because they give me free Bytes every month and liked CoinCash because they game me free coins on August.

Well....it is currently "worthless" but it might recover, you never know. It's a really convenient coin, fast transactions and low fees. Like you said, litecoin might have a better future. The new updates are contributing to it's price increase.

If we are not talking about profit and potential, my favorite coin is DOGE.
I feel that it is fast, has friendly community and affordable.

I used to like doge và ltc like you, but the long time i realize doge and ltc not a good thing, it's continuous fluctuations and down.
The now i invest XEM and NEO because I see its future.

altcoin which is very interesting to me is ripple and monero.

and there are some more coins that I think are good, like; Zcash, waves, and monaco.

Been holding these quite a while and I can say that I profited at least and I'm planning to hold as long as I can.
Waves are potential in buyinf now as it still low while xmr are going uptrend as well as the eth.

Sorry because i'm new in bitcoin so i think bitcoin this is my favorite altcoins. And if anyone wants to help me with another altcoin, I'll be happy to learn it.

My favorite altcoins are digibyte, artbyte and litecoin. All of these coins are growing coins and i believe that all of them will help me earn great profits in long run.

I'd say Waves and IOTA.

My favorite now is Waves. Waves is going strong and doing some developments of their project. The Waves Dex is getting into form already. Not yet perfect though but soon enough this trading platform will be full of tradable coins already. Waves will be reaching 10$ each in the next few months.

My favorite altcoins are litecoin, monero, ethereum classic and ripple. All of these coins have shown amazing growth in past and i believe that they will continue the trend in future.

My favorite coin is Wings!
I receive quite a lot for participating in bounty program. And I'm still holding it, because it have super great potential.
And also I receive for voting in wings platform 3 kind of tokens! And it about 40% from first deposit!

My favorite altcoin is bitcoin because bitcoin is able to provide something of value to our family, and hopefully bitcoin will soon realize my dream of owning a plantation. Besides bitcoin I also like etherum and waves because I know these two coins will be widely used on every project and have good potential coin for the future.  :)

My favourite altcoins : Ethereum (And any token ethereum), Doge, BTS, Dash, Waves. But i prefer to use ethereum because Im very often transact in market using token ethereum.  ;D

XMR and WAVES are the 3 top most overwhelmingly performing coins of the year and no doubt my favorite coins which will increase in their values over time very soon. XMR has great functions and helps to gain the best anonymity in our transactions due to its internal mixing properties and WAVES is such a platform that allows companies to generate tokens in minutes without much hassle just the way ETH do, but WAVES does it much better and they are obviously needed to create those tokens which will be the main cause for increase in value.

i don't experience yet holding an altcoin.
still learning how to earn them..
but for me with a good specs
i may say that Ethereum is the best for me .
for having a stable price .

My favorite coin is monero and eth, another coin, this time I must say no. We all know today's altcoin price has falling down and make sell panic to the most people. But for me, monero and eth has stable volume and that's become my favorite indicator to replace my money, about the price I don't care. As long I have patience is enough and will survive on the real market. Try my strategy and have a nice day.

According to what I observed the past few days, I feel investors are focusing on IXT and SAN and even myself was attracted to these two projects

XRP. It's the coin that got me introduced. Next is ARK followed by Stratis.

Right now, my favorite coin is Ethereum coins. The only alt I've got profit so far. I'll try other coins maybe some other months but ETHs are what I preferred for now. So many possibilities to be used on with a big supporters too. Their growth is amazing giving them a huge influence right now.

I just fell in love with bitcoin.

There are some coins that I invest, like waves, neo, ripple, iota. I think the coins I mentioned will get a lot to the advantage.

That is true, the Chinese coins are very interesting and many of them have great market performance since Chinese market is growing in a really rapid speed.

Stratis is one the favorite altcoin that would buy since. You may add stratis ,ethereum and waves these would for sure a profit. My favorite altcoin would love to so these are okay for long term investment.

My favorite altcoins are Ethereum. Litecoin, Dash, Monero and waves. These are coins that always are profitable. I am holding some other coins too just for short-term. But the coin I mentioned, I am always interested in them and hold them.

to most people, the favorite coins are the coins earing most, so early players prefer to bitcoin or eth and so on, but new comer will choose OMG, NEO..

so far I always use ethereum and doge, but my favorite is ethereum because it has good potential so far, and every bounty and ico they always use ethereum to send their coin.

I have a lot of favorite altcoins but heres my favorite as of now is waves coin. Because I see to this coin to increase more in the future.and more people also love waves coin so I think thats one reason why eaves coin will increase in the future. Ethereum is my 2nd favorite before thats my first altcoins favorite as of now its not but ether is also potential coin it will increase more like 1000 dollars before end of this year.

Of course Litecoin is better. I hold dogecoin and the price does not increase. Keeping for long time and the price the same to bitcoin. Meanwhile, LTC price climb up slowly to BTC. The measurement is BTC price. even doge with USD increase, it will not affect to profit if you hold dogecoin. When doge price increase to BTC. Automatically, the doge price to USD increase too. For that reason, I prefer LTC.

You should check DeepOnion, less than a month on market and already hitted 5 dollars one time.. now is cheap, you can buy a lot and you will no regret it.
The Dev team is doing everything to keep the community strong and trying to do all the bes to the project all the time.

Id say my favorite altcoins is bitcoin and ethereum . Bitcoin is my favorite cause it is the first coin that ive known and it has a high exchange value in our country. I also like ethereum cause when i apply in a bounty campaign ether wallet is required , so i created my wallet and discovered ethereum, that's when ive known about ethereum and it has the same rate in exchange in the bitcoin world. Ethereum has also increasing value nowadays.

Ark is my favorite because it is the easyest coin I have ever earned interest on. I also like XRP a lot because I had some of the biggest growth with it!

Decred is also my fav since airdrop, much happening soon.

I'm a Neo convert, dropped most of my ETH for it. I'm also big on QTUM, IOTA and TenX.

Started with waves, stable, affordable and profitable. Next tried Ethereum, differ a little, but you need to get used to it. But everything is fast, affordable, so let's say it's friendly to the user.

My favorite altcoins are ethereum classic, monero, golem, siacoin and artbyte. All of these coins have a very good development team and you can expect high returns from these coins.

Waves , XRP , ETH, DCR, OMG , QTUM, CDT . All of them are my favorite, I suppose more will be in my list, some projects are really easy to succeed.

It's good to see too many new WAVES holders. More people use it, more valuable the coin is, very simple logic. I saw a lot of WAVES riders recently, I think about buying more and grow up my stash. If the coin will make its second move this year I don't want to miss it. WAVES is not my favorite coin but one of my favorites.

Ethereum and ZCash are my favourite. I think they have great future and will significantly grow in price.

As far as I'm knowledgeable in alt coins my favorites are bitcoin and ethereum. These two are promising alt coins for me. They lay platforms that are covincing and very much likely to gain profit and the benefits are all there. The feedbacks of these two regarding investing are good as we can see how they establish a name in cryptocurrencies.

I'd like to now is the ethereum, doge, waves perhaps I will look for another altcoin who know there is a nicer altcoin

My favorite bitcoin would be bitcoin second is the ethereum. All though there is a lot of altcoins out there that has a future for thus forum i still haven't try them yet by i gave my favoritr that i already tried. You told us that your favorite coin is dogr and lite coin , lite coin is a good coins thats what i have information currently but the doge dindt to be a good coin because it need a lot of supply so i prefer that don't invest yoyr money and try to gather information first before investing to it.

I think you need to have btc stored and prove you have it, then they give you some free coins?

I gave up on Doge.  It didn't seem like it was going anywhere and the unlimited supply is really going to keep it down.  It's fun for "tipping", or whatever, but it's development is falling behind.  It should consider a rebranding, because it's always stuck as the meme/joke currency.

My two faves are Etherium and OMG, but Litecoin, Monero, & Decred get honorable mention.

Dogecoin is a dead coin for me as its not going anywhere since long time so investing in it is a waste of time and money so I will prefer to go for ETH and DGB for long term investments and will try my luck on LTC and XRP in short term.

Agree all the four coins you have mentioned are the best in the business at a moment and even in future they would be very promising and my majority of investment is in ETH as I believe that it has an ability to take over bitcoin in future.

almost all the bounty coins that I follow are my favorites because I always see their roadmap continues to evolve according to schedule, this is my benchmark in determining altcoin order attitude in the trading market, if its development starts to be deserted, the price trend is sure to go down and I will soon selling it, profit or loss is not a problem unless I participate in their ico. I have now decided to collect more ethereum and waves because of the great potential of the future for transaction fee purposes.

I am here in coins and still don't know which is the best coin for me. I am seeing a lot of members here saying Doge coin is the best and ill be sticky with that for future.

I am newbie in crypto but so far I have been following this method. All the bounty or free airdrops are my fav and currently following those. But only investing in bitcoin and ethereum.

HTML5 coin is my favorite alt coin and is my newest hodl  coin. I have seen the 5 year roadmap/pipeline on the reddit and social media tab on coinmarketcap. I have big dreams for this coin. This has got to be the most undervalued coin I've ever seen. Research it. Coin swap coming up, this is the pre-launch stage. 4 - 5 sat on yobit. they have a huge slack and telegram community... I camt wait to see the outcome in five years!

My all time favorite altcoin is litecoin. These days I like bitcore and deep onion. Both are exciting projects with huge potential.

My favorite coin is Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash, and Bitcoin because the three coins have excellent potential.

My favorite is just like you, doge. Because doge is very cheap, want to buy and sell also the same price only. I also have a zencash coin in bittrex, to turn it into bitcoin, I sell it to doge, because it costs a little when it becomes doge. After that I sold it to bitcoin and resell, to become official money.

I agreed with you, DOGE is disappeared like a fashion trend, since I lost a lot in DOGE and i see the DOGE movement is very slow, i decided to left DOGE forever. Now, my favorite altcoin is XLM because I always get profit from XLM

I have stratis, waves, deeponion, xrp, siacoin and xvg but my all time favourite is BTC as it is the oldest coin of crypto market and is a base currency to trade any altcoin. BTC is not in the category of altcoin but it is the king of whole crypto market.

Litecoin is my favorite altcoins even it's dont have any special. Just hold a little but still hope can make some money from it

My favorite alt coin is Wave.

I have many altcoins which I hold em in a long term such as xem, maid, bay, rlc, eth, waves, dent, icob, vty, and vibe those are goodvto me and all of them are good to hold onto.

Ripple and Stellar. I still hold more than 1000$ each coin but don't care about that. Just hold for memory

I like Unify right now because the dev team has contact directly with the users on Telegram, and listens to the community.
Also a fresh new coin with limited supply (19M). Staking is really good with about 5-10% rate. I'm in it for the long run. Also, the price is really low 2-3cents. Listed on 2 exchanges, planned for more pretty soon.

LOL, those coins were stable since it's been born. Some people would say that DOGECoin is a shit coin, I'm not quite sure but some said that it was from China and China banned ICO's. I would still say Ethereum and Waves are good, but each people has their own preferences.

I like xrp deeponion and waves as xrp have now tieup with many banks and it will rise in buture when more banks join xrp. Waves has its own decentralised exchange and many new icos using it to distribute tokens.Deeponion is a new coin but have huge community support and can go big in future as they are using Tor technology.

I'm quite interested in Zcash too, but it's not doing too well. It seems to recover a little, but plunge back down. Dash seems to be much better, it's prices are a little too high for my taste. Waves is growing more and more popular, but it's trade volume is much lower than most other coins.

My favourite altcoin is ARK, PTOY, Dashcoin, Etherum but is the best is Bitcoin  ;D

Like you I'm a stalker of bitcoin and ethereum but not with bitcoin cash. When I receive that I dump it immediately, take profit and buy some coins that are really promising. I don't know why I don't like that maybe because its from China. Well we all have different perspective so I respect what's yours.  :)

depending on the owner of the coin itself. because altcoin can make you fall and can make you fly.
Everyone should realize that altcoin is money. do not keep a special feeling because someday you will feel lost.
then you will be very sad. :D

I'd say Eth and if you want to look at upcoming ICOs, then ARToken (because I just passioned about AR/VR and believe in great future of AR/VR, and they have very well done whitepaper and nice bounty ;D). By the way, does anyone have any favorite AR/FR focused projects?

Of the four in your list, I can consider LTC. But the rest I think they are not wise for fast return of investment. LTC is even slow. I hope it goes higher in value. I am into ETH, Waves, EDG, SC, and SNT. I shift from one coin to another though.

my opinion you should hold Waves, Ripple, Okcash and monero

Litecoin, Ethereum, Monero, Stellar, DeepOnion, Nlc2, Dashcoin are some of my favorite altcoins currently. Ripple also has great potential and Bitconnect seems to be rising quickly through the ranks.

I haven't updated my list in a while. I'll just set it as outdated.

I have Neo. Volumes are large and spread is small so it is easier to do a scalping because there is not much difference in the bid and ask price. Many are also saying that it has a good future so if ever the price gets lower when I bought it, I would buy more in the dip because it will go up eventually and the news about China using Neo like bitcoin. A lot of developments on the coin so its a long term coin for me.

I have XEM too because they may have some good news in the upcoming meet-ups and conferences.

Dogecoin. Litecoinprice raised like bitcoin. So it may fall but dogecoin is already low priced so it can only rise.

I would say for now Filecoin, ARToken and Decentraland. I think they have exceptional future and will significantly grow in price.

My favorite is ethereum, pillar, primal, octanox and now deeponion coins, I have this altcoin and I wanna hold this all alt-coin for a long term because I don't need to cash out for now, and maybe in the future this alt-coin will be worth and bring good furtune to my life. ;)

Bitcoin and Ethereum are the alternative coins (altcoin) that are considered as my favorite altcoin because they are familiar to me. According to my friends, Bitcoin has a high exchange rate in our country and I think it is the popular coin here. About Ethereum, I discovered this because when we apply in the bounty campaign they need to make a ether wallet as one of their requirements. I also like ethereum because like bitcoin, it has a high exchange rate.

Etherium, Doge and litecoin used to be my favorite last 2014- 2015. Eth and litecoin is the best they have diffrent projects than other coins (they are for long term use).

My current favorites are LINDA and EMBER. It's very cheap so the risk is very low. They are both promising and listed on many crypto exchanges.

The big 4 for holding mid-long term for me are:

One of my favorite altcoins at the moment is an upcoming ICO called Propthereum.io. I have found them very intriguing as have many others. Just a brief summary about them: They are an asset backed cryptocurrency on the blockchain and are expecting a 1566% coin appreciation in a short period of time. Proceeds raised from their ICO will be used to purchase A-grade property worldwide. This will generate a rental income and underlying value for the PTC token holder.
