Just an FYI, but my password on Slush's mining pool got hacked! The weird thing is that I don't have a Mt. Gox account, and that I do not re-use the same passwords anywhere. The only thing that was changed was the payout address, which is how I found that my account was compromised. All of my worker info / etc was fine... I advise people to be careful and vigilant! Slush's pool now seems to enforce requiring e-mail authorization before changing the payout address, but I did /not/ receive an e-mail about my payout address changing when this happened. (apparently last night) It seems necessary to use 13+ character passwords on just about everything now... |
