I have just joined now , was told about deep onion by a friend but nothing more than that , then I was registering and at the end I was asked to enter my bitcoin talk user id , so had no clue , then found out about bitcoin talk registered and here I am , I also then read a thread where a user was asking my same question so I thought I had it however he was told to click on his name and then he will see 6 number or something but I have been clicking on my name but nothing is happening , so I am pretty lost so far , am not sure what I am getting into but have a good feeling about it , just got into crypto like 3 weeks back and I have already invested/traded quite a lot on bittrex still learning and experimenting of course so far but I am happy with my progress so far

so you are asking about how to gey your user ID right ?
can you see 'profile' in left top your screen monitor ?
click Profile >> Look at your left side again and find Forum Profile Information >> look at your browser address.
if you do it correctly you should see something like this :
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=XXXXX;sa=forumProfile

XXXXX this is your USER ID

do you understand it now ?

Note :
before joining a bounty or something like that make sure to read their RULES and TERMS.
do not do it if you don't accepted or in their bounty list or others list

I believe the airdrop/signature campaign for Deep Onion is only open to the Member level and above, though.

You should check the thread, but the best thing you can do is start reading and get active so that you can eventually join.

ok good really useful info thanks a lot in fact I tried to follow a video to set the bct signature and I could not any signature at all , thanks a lot , patience is a virtue.

yeah right patience is a vitue. like you i am a newbie too but you have a lot of knowledge than me, youve experience how to be a trader which i dndnt know about it. maybe someday i learn a lot of thing all about bitcoin.
