Title: Creating an altcoin
Post by: Two4D2 on August 28, 2017, 04:45:17 PM
Hello.

I have an awesome idea for a Bitcoin dice game with a twist (that I will not reveal). This twist would bring many people to the game and would also keep many people. I think it is really a great addition to the dicing game. Now my problem is, that I do not have enough money to implement my idea. All together, with game creation, web hosting, marketing, etc... would probably cost me roughly $10k+.

So I was thinking to create my own token to raise funds, but this is kinda smaller type of project, not what most of ICOs are today, where they collect $100k+.. so creating a token with supply of about 10k would not really fit into the norm if you get what I mean..

Does anyone have any suggestions for me or ideas around this?

Thanks.

You can try do as usual - announcement, website, whitepaper, signature compain. But then you can write that you will develop it yourself.
If you do everything correct, strategizing few month this project, then you will have success.

Good Luck!

It's better to create your platform first with your own investment (lending from banks, people around you).
Just having a blind idea would not work. You should start working for it.

the most important is to plan a concept with very mature and also very detailed. you also need a solid and professional team to handle the projects you will develop, but they do require a good readiness and also good in team position.

Yeah. Please do us and yourself a favour by working for months on a good concept, strategy, roadmap... most importantly, please develop an idea that is useful instead of another carbon copy alt. Then, when you announce and launch, everything is clear and there are no confusions. Set expectations straight up from the beginning, and lessen the frustration later on.

If this is kinda smaller type of project and need small amount to complete, contact with Senderon dev. They're supporting business opportunities and projects in and around the cryptocurrency world.

You can use an existing platform to create your token.
See ETH, or easier: Waves.

Maybe try to attract some investors who can support your idea, especially gamblers since from my understanding, it has something to do with a dice game? You'll really need some help for your project, and funds for it to push through. You could try to borrow some money from people you trust or from banks then just convert it to crypto. Good luck on your project, I hope you find some resources

Learn the code, try to develop your own platform and never try to use the assets to scam those investors to invest in your project. regarding your word and it seems you are having a lot of knowledge to make a new innovation for our community. That is really bad start in my opinion.
