Well educated or uneducated??

People that are smart and rich or people that are unproven and hoping to get rich quick

People that are adding meaningful value to society or People that are just piggybacking on someone else's efforts


Just curious...

Both educated and uneducated people buy bitcoin. The educated people started to buy bitcoins in 2011, but I guess that uneducated people saw the opportunity in bitcoin in 2016 or 2017. Now, all of the people know the value of bitcoin, and buy it.

I can tell you from experience that people from all walks of life are buying crypto. Literally everyone is. Minimum wage workers, big businessmen and billionaires. And many poor people became super rich as a result. Such is the life of the one who invests early... and believe me, we are only getting started. :)

No, But some people just get their luck to buy bitcoin in 2011, you must consider the price of bitcoin is very cheap and you are able to buy a lot of bitcoin with some dollars. And that is not caused by those people are educated person. Luck has a big role in this case.

Define "educated"

Level of education has nothing to do with Bitcoin and isn't related to year of purchase whatsoever.
The majority of people who know about Bitcoin are holding some regardless of their education.

False. I know many many educated people who simply weren't aware of bitcoin's existent. They still refuse to invest in it because its not their cup of tea, but these guys are making so much money (One is a chemist and the other is a brain surgeon) that nothing else matters to them.

But I think everyone with a sense can see that bitcoin has a lot of possibilities in the future. Its a great time to invest, in a few years from now it will be above $15K

If someone is well educated about bitcoin and know about the opportunity given by bitcoin, that individual surely will buy bitcoin. While if you are not educated about bitcoin and you do not know anything about bitcoin, surely you will not buy bitcoin, Any one can buy bitcoin if they know something special about it.

Everyone that knows Bitcoin has th potential to buy Bitcoin and I tots agree with you, it is not just bought by a select few but by the entire Bitcoin ecosystem. We've come to believe that buying and holding them is one surewsy of making us decent profits and so we are all buying for the right reasons.

That is true, everyone who hold cryptocurrencies has an opportunity to become wealthy or to become more rich. I want also to hold more of this cryptocurrencies because of its value increasing everytime. I'm not also very educated to bitcoin because my knowledge now is just pure self exploration in cryptocurrencies.

Educated people are buying and uneducated people are buying being adviced by educated people. Unfortunatelly the uneducated people are much more exposed to scammers than the educated ones, so they can start investing in Bitcoins, but for negative purposes, like a Ponzi Scheme for an example. There are many people like that being guided by thieves on their countries.

yes I agree with you if you know and understand bitcoin of course there will buy bitcoin because you know there is something valuable that you can get from bitcoin but otherwise if your education don't know and understand bitcoin then you also will not know there is a profit that can be got of bitcoin.

this is a weird question.
just like anything else in the world, a wide variety of people are buying bitcoin. in the early years bitcoin may have been restricted to the "nerds" but that stopped being the case after the first 2 years, give or take.
now people who want financial freedom, security, want profit, and .... are buying bitcoin. i can say all the different groups of people you have in mind have already bought bitcoin. specially the uneducated and get rich overnight type of people. and that is visible on the charts when a panic sell starts.

OP, those who are buying cryptos are not covered in the areas you pointed out. Your fulcrum of imagination didn't take you there. Where did you place that 12-year old kid millionaire whose granny gifted some dollar for his birthday and he invested all into Bitcoin? You see he isnt covered as an educated or otherwise. This is to show that we really can't know exactly the class of people buying and investing in cryptocurrency.

Anyway, for me I would say those who buy cryptos are just those who are Internet suavy and got fascinated enough by the weird thing called Bitcoin irrespective of their wealth, education or age.

Don't think uneducated people have good interested in buying cryptocoin . I have told about the bitcoin to some of my friends who are rich but less educated. They shown no interested in it. The increasing value of bitcoin in last couple of year have attracted many of them but they are interested in the value only.

I would say, educated people from the middle income group to rich people. Most people will only invest in something, when they calculated the risks. To understand Bitcoin, you have to read a lot of information and you have to do some research, which will put you in the "educated" section of the population.

Most Bitcoin investors are also active in other financial sectors, so they are used to trading in commodities. ^smile^

The poor rely on word of mouth and this might cause a lot of confusion and trust issues, because they getting recycled information that are mostly unreliable.

The people who are buying bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are the people who are late comers but they also believe that bitcoin can get them somewhere they didn't expect. Those people are just doubters in the past but now bitcoin prove them wrong and bitcoin made them eat their words so they are now buying bitcoin and hoping that the hope of getting to be rich is not yet gone.

yes educated people have good sense that is why they are more easy to convenience about bitcoin as compare to those people who do not have any education. i do not think that educated people will not take any interest in bitcoin. it think that they will like to adopt bitcoin because bitcoin is the currency of the the new generation and they are really take more interest in bitcoin.

who buy bitcoin are the bitcoin users themselves that they use in buying and selling in the market to profit from the difference in price, for alcoin is also the same usually it is also a bitcoin users who deliberately buy to get bitcoin from the sale and purchase altcoin

People only wants profit and money.
When people sees some profit and they see money they buy or do, whatever is suitable for it. So, It doesn't matter whether a person is educated or un-educated he/she will invest for sure.
Yeah, They way a educated person thinks is different he totally search about it asks about where they are investing (bitcoin) about others and take all the information and then they buy Bitcoins or any other crypto.

There are so many investors are there in market who are make trading in too much quantity in bitcoin and alt coins also they trade on all crypto currencies by deeply understanding and get a great profit.

i dont think in which of these people you in. but im in  on uneducated, unproven and hoping to get rich quik and piggybacking on someone else effort, because in reality we are all survivors on how do we survive life has many challenge to face on so its up to you how you face it. if you educated of some thing else but you totally cant use it in your daily life how you sure that you strongly enough to survive? those uneducated you mentioned are those people has no  chance to support their study in school so they took another way to survive. they just got be more wise than educated. so both of them have rigth to buy bitcoin with no exception.

very few understand and are willing to understand the cryptocurrency the tech and future use of it. most of the people getting into it is attracted towards the value of bitcoin and other alternative coins . most of them sees it as a get rich quick kinda thing

I think anyone can buy bitcoin. It's enough to know to use a computer or a smart  phone.

Like all new technologies, cryptocurrency is undergoing a maturing process to become easier, safer and more beneficial to use.
Like personal computers, users needs a minimum of education to use it. This minimum depends on what you use this technology for.

Right now it's a lot more people buying than we saw in 2013, and
that actually scares me somewhat.   We're starting to get a lot of
bubble threads here, and I don't hear many convincing arguments
as to how $4637 isn't in bubble territory.   Bubbles happen when
the ignorant masses get sucked into an investment based on prior
high returns.  I think that's what's happening now.  I hope I'm wrong.

Oh please guys, not this discussion of educated and uneducated person. Graduating from some college doesn't mean that person has better skills than those who have not stepped a foot in there for whole of their lives. The ultimate weapon is a self educated mind. Anyone who has a brain and has basic knowledge of computer can earn BTCs.

I think that all people has the ability to buy bitcoin if they have a sufficient money to buy it. So on the other hand even educated and uneducated people have the rights to buy bitcoin.

Not educated or uneducated but mostly greedy people buy  bitcoins, which is quite unfair. Most of them will stop buying it if they won't be sure that it will grow again. I am more curious how many cryptoanarchist and cypherpunks are buying is (in % of total amount of users).

Everyone who knows about bitcoin wants to buy and even keep it, hoping someday to be meaningful to their lives.

Educated or not still can buy bitcoin.
Actually bitcoin never ask for what standard of your living, nor you are educated or not or even where you came from. Bitcoin is for all as long as you can access internet and read, nothing else. Bitcoin is for all remember that. The only thing which differs is the quantity, the more skillful you are, the more coins you can gather.

Still many people even being educated don't truly understand the true potential of bitcoin. People who are rich and want to become even richer buy bitcoins or other crypto currency. I don't think the point of educated or uneducated cones up here because it is the greed of people to get rich which makes them buy bitcoin and other crypto currencies.

I work in a monthly salary paid job and I do not earn a lot. But I can follow the recent technology and invested in bitcoin and altcoins in order to get rich. It works fine

Nope I don't think there is a classification or particular social classes of bitcoin buyers because of the reason that there is no minimum amount specified in any exchange and platform on buying service that has been implemented. As far as I know, for I've been using or buying in small amount every time the price is in dip. It is what bitcoin differ from all investments out there, equality and opportunity to all fair and square.

The whole world is buying bitcoin now. This is the actual beauty of bitcoin that it does not comes with a tag of specific section. Anyone can buy it and adopt it. Considering its huge returns everybody is into it.

Both uneducated and educated people, bitcoin is being bought, mined or traded by anyone who wants to at least improve their way of life. Bitcoin can be the best investment as a store of value as you can keep it in your wallet and wait if its price goes up. So far from 2009 until now the price has gone only up , with big swings of volatility in during the years but bottom line is the price is always going up slowly.

That might be the case in the States and some other countries but in my one, and I think in many European ones, the vast majority of buyers are educated. I read people from my country in a crypto forum in my language and they all seem educated but the thing is, most educated people don’t know about bitcoin or don’t understand it.

I think there is a double gap here: one between crypto-friendly countries and the rest. And the second, between educated and uneducated people in those countries where cryptos are not common. Buying cryptos is easy though, and it can be done in small amounts, so I think it wont take too much time to bridge those gaps.

All are buying and its a great time to buy right now as the price of bitcoin is slowly picking up again.
The best time to invest is still NOW so, i guess thats why everyone is in it.

I was not informed that I need to be rich and educated to be in this kind of investment. I was only given two altitude for it by my mentor/friend "hardwork and positive thinking", I don't even have money that why i am here, I don't have a car to be called rich. I don't have high educational attainment that is why I don't have work in real world other than online.

not all who buy bitcoin in 2016 or 2017 are uneducated. they buy bitcoin because they know that there is a good chance in terms of investment. and I'm sure why many people who do not buy bitcoin in 2011 are because they do not know bitcoin.

Uneducated are just not buying this currency. General human nature never invest in thing you dont know about.

Yes some people become uneducated because they need to explore bitcoin by their own and because of that way they also learned and encouraged themselves to earn and buy more bitcoin which is a good investment.

Bitcoin is the king of Crypto currency.If any one come to know about Crypto, surely they will inverse in Bitcoin.If you inverse in Bitcoin means,after you holding for long periods.You can sell and get double or triple of invested money.You will get this profit, only if you act wisely.

Both groups buy bitcoin. educated and uneducated. but most of them do speculative buys (hold and wait for higher price). its not really need driven. only in countries like venezuela there is a need for a substitute of fiat.

then there is the group of central bank haters. they have a strong reason to buy into some alternative form too.

then there is the group of early adapters. people who try a lot of things that a new and that "might" change the world.

then there is the group of IT and Crypto believers....

Literary everyone is buying cryptocurrencies these days, from students to people above 60 years old, like one of my without. There are no limits in age, gender or education because everybody wants their chance to profit from cryptocurrencies, especialy bitcoin. And this is the way it should be, bitcoin shouldn't be restricted only to few gropus but available to everyone.

Bitcoin is a big chance that many people are thankful for. As in the media, presence thereby steadily is rising

Well buying crypto is same to that of buying equity shares, only in terms of buying and selling I mean. No matter what there will be a buyer and there will be a seller at all times, there exists bulls and bears in the market who influence the prices and this will happen for what I guess forever until there is an apocalypse or a huge tragedy, lord forbid.

Right now mostly people that are buying are buying to get rich quick in some way, but there are always those people who have bought before that continue to hold their coins.

There are many kinds of peole who want to get rich by bitcoin: young and smart people want an oppotunity to get rich. Another kind is rich people who wants to get more incomes.

Everyone who has some idea about bitcons are buying them whether it is educated or uneducated.People from different walks of life are buying them in order to get rich some think its one of the fastest way to get rich through online as far as i know education has nothing to do with bitcoins the only thing is that the person should know to use the Internet and should know how to make investments in bitcoins most of the people holding btc are regardless of them being educated i have heard several things like there are lot of school going small kids who are into bitcoins they bought with their gift money or from the pocket money they used to get from home so its clear that education has nothing to do with bitcoins and its only based on once interest on how to increase their wealth 

i am sure that both educated or uneducated is buying bitcoin and crypto because they know bitcoin can help them to make money. we can see many background people around us which is buying bitcoin and I don't think that all of them is very well educated. because this is what I see in here, they all come from different background and they have different knowledge about bitcoin but they are learn together so they can share what they know about bitcoin.

All groups of people that can afford to buy btc whether educated or uneducated, rich or not, young or old, it doesn't matter as long he/she can handle the things right and can do trading.

There is no doubt that well-educated people have a greater advantage in bitcoin investment. They can have better financial information about their friends circle. You can get the news faster.

bitcoin will purchase those who are smart in a sense many investors are now trying to keep secure investment and they invested their money into bitcoin and any slight up movement in the prices they sold their bitcoin at a high price. the one who want to purchase online games software and trading through this currency. the modern people are interested in bitcoin and crypto because they knows they are very valuable as compared to paper money.

Every one who is actually familiar with importance of bitcoin is going to invest in the bitcoin it does not matter that he/she is educate or not in the same that he/she is poor or rich .the thing which matter is the importance of bitcoin soon one get about the bitcoin sooner will he/she invest in it.

Based on my experience people who were looking for income from online they started bitcoin and other crypto currency buying holdin or trading as far my observation in my country and community . Here no matter whether they educated or uneducated people really able to trade they are here lots of my friend as well as social community I have and whatsapp group everyone seems like looking for better income from crypto currency.

Many people know seen movement bitcoin,, price of bitcoin its fluktuatif makes people interested to invest for long term.sometime trading bitcoin to be daily profits though only take profits on 5% until 10%.

I totally agree with you. No matter you educated or not. If you can trade and get profit, you are a successful merchant. You can't learn from school, but you can learn your mistakes. 8)

I don't think it truly matters, but it should be safe to assume that there are more educated people than uneducated people. Investing in cryptocurrencies require knowledge about certain topics after all.

I think both well educated and uneducated buy Bitcoin as long that they have money to use in investing or buying Bitcoin. Even uneducated can understand how bussiness works. But i am not saying that you already does not need to become educated its still better if you know many things and idea how are you going to make your investment grow that you can learn in bussiness schools and experience
