OK .. so i am putting the questione here. I have ordered a "BitForce 5 GH/s SC" BFL miner and i am wondering if anyone here have experience hooking it up to a Android unit instead of having a PC running the mining software? I saw this vid on YouTube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c9hBRljvZPI so it certainly is possible I was thinking also if it is possible to somehow have the phone plugged in the power while connected to the BitForce at the same time using maybe bluetooth ??? I mean, its very expensive hardware, and is mining really slow. Maybe i do not understand completely how things work, but is it not the GPU that makes the most work - not the mining software? If the BitForce is connected to the Android and the android therefore only is the one that runs the software, i.e. a "control unit", then i would guess it is fine. Am i missing something? |
