I have chose both in the poll. I do play gambling on pc if i have my extra time and sometimes i do play gambling on mobile when im in transit or travelling just to have a past time. I do bet that most people would do have the same choices too.

I only gamble on my desktop pc, I usually find the desktop interfaces of gambling websites to be much better than their mobile counterparts.
My phone and tablet are relatively new, but I've noticed that they do perform a lot worse than my desktop, especially on graphic heavy casino's.

I picked 50/50 in the poll but mostly I've done it in my mobile. I think the percentage is 65/35. I am always away with my Desktop, so whenever I feel gambling, I grab my phone and do my thing. But the thing is there are sites that I can't visit using my Android phone so I feel satisfied using my Desktop.

Depends on the casino. If the online casino does not require flash I gamble most on my iPad. If I like a casino and it requires Adobe flash I also use my Desktop PC or Laptop but this happens not that much. There are still some casinos (especially those which offer Poker) which do not support mobile devices very well so that you are required more or less to use a desktop or laptop.

I also play gambling games in my Ipad. i am very comfortable in my Ipad to compare system. I no need to switch on the computer to play just open Ipad and play. And the processor is also very fast to compare my system. So the game will load very fast without any disturbance. But some sites will not support means not fit for iPad. in that time I will use my system.

The educational purpose I don't understand. May be he has now entered this gambling world, so he wants to know which device is fast and good to play online gambling games. That is why he is asking. i am not sure. I use all device means I will play on my mobile, tab, laptop. Playing in mobile is a bit tough for some sites. The pages will not load quickly.

Desktop would be more comfortable to gamble in dice or betting. The reason why I do using my computer, this can give better wired internet line using ethernet connection but in mobile connection issue take part when I am travel or out of city. Then, I can get the better view to do my thing much better.

You can play on desktop version even though use mobile browser but i think it's back on what the games do you play. for example if you like to play casino, i'm sure most of us will use desktop pc because we need to have fast connection for play it.

Easier to use desktop because when using mobile. when we play dice will often often have errors. I recommend to use the desktop unless you use a betting ball or the like

Actually all this thing depends upon my condition only because it depends according to my condition that what i have during the mood of playing gambling games .
When i need to make gambling for making money and sitting at the home then i like to make gamble at PC because handling of the game is much easier then what we can do at the mobile .
And when i  am outside of the home and wants to make gambling then i prefer for thr gambling at mobile but simple games of high low vet and sometimes i like to make betting at witg mobile also , because sports gambling can be easily handle with mobile as well with pc .
So here you can understand easily that how all things depends According to my gambling conditions and moods and also recuirments .

I've never seen any (bitcoin) gambling site offering mobile app, they simply optimize their site to fit on mobile devices.

It would be good if the site is working on both the platforms because some gamblers play according to the price of the coin and right now the fluctuations are often. I would choose 50-50 because I use both PC and mobile for gambling.

sometimes certain games are not optimized yet for ipad screen , everything messed up :D .

AFAIK every casino will fit and optimized on your desktop personal computer , that is why mostly i play on my mac , and the rest of it when i am off far away from home simply i play it on my phone. actually the bigger screen you have , the more excited will be  ;D .

I mostly gamble in my laptop because not all of the casino are compatible with mobile screen and casino can't list their app on google playstore or iTunes due to TOS of those platforms. So we don't have much option when we try to gamble in our smartphones also I feel it quite boring to play over small screen of my smartphone.

Thanks for all the feedback, i'll bring a little more info.
I'm a CS student doing a little research on the importance of a fluid and responsive mobile version of a website, for websites with "smaller" audience.
by "smaller" i mean smaller than facebook, twitter.

Gambling is an interesting subject because clients need output from the site, and because cryptocurrencies are changing so rapidly people will check their price very often, therefore they will check from their smartphones.
The question im trying to answer is how many users will not use a successful gambling site that doesn't have a fluid and responsive mobile version.

Oh and i have even a bigger question for gamblers after this one :)

I usually played both on my lappy and ipad. But I' more comfortable playing at my laptop obviously because of bigger screen. I just used my Ipad if I want to lie down and gamble at the same time. But if now, I'm usually sitting, playing at my laptop. Although I really like the response on my Ipad rather than my laptop.

Desktop,
There are many reason why I have selected Desktop.
I use Desktop for gambling because it is fast and mostly website works flawlessly on desktops instead on mobile devices and others. It is the main factor of the game when your are gambling on speed you are making very quick bets.
It is very much easy to use through desktop, we can easily bet and everything seems to be easy.

I only prefer desktop never gambled from any other device.

I generally think that it is better for a user to download to their devices such a game as a Solitair and enjoy a card game. But at the same time he does not take any excitement for the peace of his soul. I have already made sure that every gambler hopes to develop his strategy, but the result is that he has lost a lot of money.

Why I do not download such games on device is because mobile devices are much more busier then desktop because we cannot focus on the game as notifications are always coming which may disturb and cause us to lose our money.

Whenever i'm on my house i always used desktop to gamble for example if i'm playing dice game it's easier for me to do dicebot or auto bet features of the site. It's easy to stop and run the bot if i'm doing high risk strategy. I only used mobile whenever i'm not on our house or if i'm off to bed.

It depends on what gambling types:

Sports Betting - since we don't need some good graphics specs here just to placed a bet and overall it's just a matter of texts, I can do this on mobile mostly.

Dice, Slots, Poker, Roullets - obviously this needs a some internet plugins which most convenient if it will be played on desktop rather than on mobile.

I chose mobile in the poll, since our desktop broke down, my mobile phone is what I'm using. I use mobile when I am off to bed or when I bet on sports. But it would be easier if it's on the desktop because the internet is more faster and the screen is bigger compared to the mobile phone which sometimes has no signal and has a smaller screen.

I usually use my laptop to gamble because it's more easier to gamble and there are also an option that they don't have if you gamble in handphone. If i'm not at home, i use my handphone to gamble too, i am a sportsbook gambler and using handphone only to make a bet and don, i don't like gambling on casino using my handphone.

In the past, when I used to use a few systems when betting on football (soccer) I tended to use a laptop or desktop because I had many tabs open so to cover the various stats/analysis sites etc.
Obviously moving from one tab to the next is much easier (and quicker) on a larger screen.  :)

Also when you use desktop you won't get bothered with the unsupported devices like you did on mobile.
What i mean is it is frequently you receive the message that you are not be able to play game because of mobile version not available yet.
Pretty annoying to receive such as messages , so yeaaa clearly more comfortable to use desktop.

But i am online gambling player, and i started to play gambling with my PC, So it is easy way for me to play at home with my computer but about mobile little bit i was playing on it, also sometime i play on my mobile but i think the best way to play online gambling with bitcoin is use the Desktop.

If you could tell further what do you mean it's for educational purposes, either you need it for your studies or you planning to make a site. Well I use it on both, and that depends where I am. If I am at home or office then desktop, if I am outside mobile. In this current world the site has to work on all the platforms, and I feel people use it on mobile more, cause it's easier and convenient. So I vote for mobile devices. And then lastly it depends how well the site works on mobile.

It depends on your internet connection and to your technology that you are going to use. For example, you are using your cellphone, and your internet is fast, but the specs of your phone is low, then it is basically useless, same with laptop or Desktop. But if you are using high-end laptop or cellphone, then you can either use cellphone or laptop.

I gamble for both devices, desktop / laptop and mobile. When I'm into comfort I would a bigger screen just to gamble with full potential and I have a feeling of comfort for playing with monitors. But when I still want to gamble and I'm lying on the bed then that's the time for me to gamble with mobile. This is not an addiction but I find it funny to see myself gambling even while I'm in bed.

It is enjoyable to play with desktop especially if your at home and you can fully utilize the casino function accordingly, but for sure when were out at home we played through mobile,I mostly played when I'm stuck on tracffic at metro or whenever there's time.

Compatibility and convenience is what's the most important to me whether I play online and offline games, go here in forum and gamble. And I'm using my laptop or my newly bought desktop for higher resolution since I'm doing other task while I gamble. Watching videos, playing games and it's good with desktop not with my mobile.

The technology has made it so easy for everyone to search for anything anytime anywhere. As you said, you gamble but it depends on where you are. Gambling opportunities have been so highly crowded nowadays that it is so difficult for one to stay away from it. They are so easily available everywhere. I am gambling most of the time with mobile devices as it helps me to gamble while I am traveling.

I gamble from desktop, I tried gambling from my 5 inches phone but its too little, some games its impossible to play on so little screen. Desktop is the best for gambling, sitting on comfortable chair and have all in front of me provide much better gambling experience then playing something quick on the phone.
Don't force gambling in anytime everywhere, that leads to addiction. I have my free time for gambling, and I like to have free time from gambling sometimes.

Desktop much better, bigger screen, more confortable to gamble at home on a decent chair, mouse and keyboard with big accessible buttons...
I never gambled on the mobile, but seems it's dangerous, a wrong touch on the screen and you can lose too much money for mistake. And to gamble anywhere (what could be an advantage of mobile) for me isn't a good choice, because I won't be attentive on the game depending where I am.

I do gambled mostly at Desktop because some of the gambling games have better viewed when played at desktop because of some specific requirements. Honestly I have a decent phone with decent specifications and surely my phone can run those gambling sites even with stunning effects but still Im not comfortable when doing gambling at mobile.

But for sports betting since what we just do here is to placed bet, a little browse in mobile can do the work.

Dice, Slots, Poker, Roullets - obviously this needs a some internet plugins which most convenient if it will be played on desktop rather than on mobile.

Agreed, do you know how many of the gamblers here are into sports and how many for games they actually play?
BTW, mobile browsers today are more than capable of running the graphics you see on the desktop app, its all up to the developer.

There is no way we can know the numbers of gamblers here who are into sports or in a specific gambling type.

Yes agree that mobile phones today have great specs to run a high flash gambling website but still it depends if people really want to play on that platform. Example for slots, I found it not convenient when I played it on mobile as no way I can switch activities that's why for this type of gambling I used desktop.

In my opinion gambling from a pc(desktop) has a much better and smoother user experience unlike on mobile where certain options are hidden because of the interface which is built to make things appear cleaner.

Using pc will always be more convenient, if we have a smartphone and pc are both still in good shape, we will usually be more comfortable using pc. Yes at least that's what I feel all along. For me using pc more comfortable.

If it is a casino game, then I use desktop for better gaming experience. If I have to book a bet for sports betting, it does not matter if I use mobile or desktop. But mostly I use mobile for booking because it is handy and I can place my bets anywhere I am.

I just use a desktop. It's very hard to use a mobile phone because the screen is small, even if I am on an iPhone 7 plus it's still hard. Another problem is that most gambling sites have problems showing up on the mobile browsers and the mobile versions of the site doesn't help either. So I prefer the desktop versions of the gambling sites. This way it is also less complicated.

Desktop because on the desktop we will get the most perfect view. Anyway the look of the website will look better than in the smartphone. It will provide comfort for us, and remember comfort is the most important thing.

I prefer playing gambling games in my desktop.  Aside from bigger screen which I can enjoy the game more than a smartphone or a tab.  I also find it comfortable browsing the onlinge casino game interface in desktop with a use of mouse.  Aside from that I find typing in mobile phone annoying because of its small sized keyboard.  And the fact that my desktop is much more faster than my android phone so i can experience the game smoothly.

I prefer to play on the computer, because there is a large screen and everything is clearly visible. When I'm on the road, I use a mobile phone to play on the sites that support it.

I agree, playing on a computer desktop is quite nice since the layout of the gambling site is showing up how it was intended to be. Playing on mobile most of the time has a lot of issues because the gambling site does fit in the screen to well. Then sometimes the gambling site's buttons and features don't work very well on the mobile version.

For me, if a mobile version is available I would prefer that over the desktop version. First of all my iPad is likely more secure than my laptop then the next big factor why I like the mobile version is it is touch screen. Sometimes it feels better to play using a touch screen device than using a mouse which is quite feels different. I guess it really depends on the person, as there have been a lot that answered here that they like the desktop version of the gambling site.

basically the pc is indeed the most convenient to use in doing all the things about digital. because everything is very complex and we could use something exists, indeed the smartphone has a level of sophistication that is good enough. However, smarpthone complex weaknesses therein. So the PC is the most appropriate solution. And one more thing that it takes hard work and perseverance, self control is absolutely necessary to be able to control ourselves so as not to fall with the temptation of greed.

I prefer using mobile when gambling for the reason that i can control my emotion with mobile. If i lose several bets i can control not to go all in but when i play with desktop and i experience long lose streak the next bet would i do is max bet because my emotion turns bad. In mobile i will bet slowly and think if i go over or under before i click bet.

One problem I find is sometimes you accidentally tap the wrong thing and that can be really bad or really good if the bet turns out well ^^  On pc this is much harder to do.

On mobile you can put your mobile down and walk away. Or put it back in your pocket and forget about it. Being able to use your mobile on the fly is great advantage of using a mobile device.

I agree with that. I used both kind of devices in gambling but I often play in my mobile phone since I always have it in my pocket and that it is more convenient. Another thing is that there are downloadable gambling games in the store which I am really fond of using and playing when I have a free time.

Playing on desktop does give a better view but I think it depends on the game you will play. I only used it for gambling when I am at home.

Sports betting is not like a playing a game but just need to bet on any one team for that mobile may be good enough. But to play like dice game or any other casino games mobile is not suitable. I always prefer to play those games on desktop only.

I never gambled on mobile devices because sometimes you can't stop when you want it and that can bring you more losses. Some sites are not compatible with mobile phones so I always play on the desktop. Bigger screens give more fun while playing these games instead of a small screen mobile phones.

2- I have not another mean to gamble with.

Gambling on phone is fine as long as you play simple games with simple animations such as dice rolls. I tired slots once but they were really laggy on my phone, also it looked like that site wasn't designed for phones. So usually i gamble on my computer.

That's a good way to be entertain and to lessen some stress just needed to make sure that you are just using not much money and its just a spare money that you are using and not exceeding to that because gambling is really addicted whatever device that you are using.

I gamble on my Desktop. I find mobile inconvenient for gambling, everything looks too small. Also it is much easier to hit the wrong button when playing on mobile. Another reason of playing on desktop is that if I am at home I can play on desktop, and if I'm not at home I don't want to gamble walking streets, or when shopping, or when using public transport. That's something I don't want to do because you can get hit by a car if you gamble while walking across the street and if gamble from mobile you definitely do that from time to time.

And of course this is hand carry so anytime, anywhere I can play.

I agree with that. Most of the time I play with my mobile phone because just like what you said it is more convenient to use outside. I always have my phone on my hand so when I am bored play poker.  I used my desktop for gambling at home, desktop is much better to use because of the graphical features of the game and of course for better view.

I used both device in gambling, there are many gambling applications available online that is mobile phone supported but of course the time and the place is still considered when playing.

Both of them (60/40 than 50/50) but I prefer using my laptop than my phone when visiting online casinos. When I visit an online casino from a mobile browser to play dice/slots and use auto bet it mostly crashes, freezes or have a delay. I have found a good website, coinbet24 now that is very easy to bet on sport betting without anyone knowing what are you doing. Gamblers are not seen with a good eye as anywhere in the world I guess so playing on your mobile phone is the best option for me. No one knows. I use lap-top, tablet and mobile. Here I need to admit that lately when I play poker on mobile or tablet I play on 888 for dollars, their android application is one of the best. I use puffin browser sometimes to play poker on betcoin.ag but its not so simple, everything is so little and puffin is not so easy to use on mobile, its a bit easier on tablet, but I don`t have tablet with me all the time.
The best gambling is from lap-top, when I gamble I connect it with tv and I have really big picture and I can sit in my chair and play from there, that is most comfortable, but I have nothing against playing few fast hands when I`m on some break, or I need to sit in some cafe and wait something, I use their wi-fi and play, that is more interesting for me then to do something else.

I'm using my home PC. My phone likes to freeze and slow down at times, it's unreliable for gaming, just like it is for gambling.
Also, it's convenient as I keep some of my coins on my desktop. Having a gambling site open on the same device makes sending and receiving funds fast and easy.
