What is the best thing to do with the current situation of bitcoin? By current situation, I mean the price of transactions getting high, the upcoming fork, miners switching to Bitcoin Cash ... etc. How should I overcome this situation? or should I simply switch to other Cryptos?

The best thing to do with bitcoin is HOLD!
In November will have an other fork, so isn't bad to have more free money.
Just hold, don't panic when dip and in few years you can be rich!

If you have a lot of bitcoin you better spread some of your bitcoin to some altcoins, I think that's the best way if you still want to continue your investment in crypto. but if you are not sure of the future of crypto, you better sell all the bitcoin you have, because if you look now the bitcoin price has been at a high value I think you will still get a pretty good profit.

The best thing to do, in my opinion, is to hold your Bitcoin. Its price is continuously increasing, which is an advantage. Avoid panic selling whenever backdrops happen. There'll be a hardfork to happen in the month of November so expect Bitcoin being more volatile. It is now increasing ,but prepare for dumps to happen before the hardfork. Simply hold your Bitcoin and see what will happen after the hardfork.

You need to think cold headed and not with a hot head. The price is going up so the best would be to wait in the lines and see the developments as they fold. Do not rush to make any decision to switch to Bitcoin cash or any other altcoin or else you may end up regretting this situation for a long time. Let's wait for the moment.

yes that is very right to say that in present time the best option is to hold bitcoin. because still there is a good potential in the price of bitcoin and i am sure that if we will continue holding our bitcoin bitcoin will continue increasing it s price and hope that very soon we are going to reach to 7000$ at the end of 2017.

Those are the questions. Are you losing confidence? Many people are losing confidence but the price remains high. Why? Somebody knows something I think and they're not telling us.

Despite your grim premise we just reached another ATH, coincidence? Don't believe in everything that FUD spreaders have to say.
Bitcoin Cash is like Ethereum Classic it will always be the second pick for everyone, soon mining difficulty will adjust and miners will go back to BTC.
Don't forget that we are still in early adoption stage, the price might go crazy in the next few years.

I think if you are holding some bitcoins, you better hold them no matter what. Bitcoin Cash is getting better but it is still an alternative coin. Bitcoin always dump before a for but have a pump afterwards, you can see that in the last pump where the price of bitcoin almost doubled the current price in the mont of July. Just be active and watch the price, it may surprise you.

Just like the others, I too feel that the best thing to do here is keep buying and HODling. Bitcoin is a long-term investment which no matter what happens, will keep rising overall. The value of bitcoin just keeps appreciating over time since the supply continues to decrease and demand continues to grow.

You can choose to hold bitcoin or to invest in other altcoins. Nothing to panic about.

Holing is not a best option right now.
If you have a high bankroll then you may HOLD but if you are putting your faith and all money in Bitcoins right now, I would suggest that cash out it now. I don't want that anyone of us lose our money. Just put 50% in Bitcoins.

Just HODL. Bitcoin reached all time high and price don't stop to grow. Miners switching to Bitcoin Cash? I think it's just temporary thing. And I don't think that high transaction fees have big influence to bitcoin price.
Well, what I can say about this FUD around us - the dogs bark, but caravan goes on.
But if you pessimist about current situation of bitcoin, you can invest part of your btc in other coins. But only part, not more than 30% in my opinion.
And always use your brains when you make financial desicions.

Exactly there is nothing to worry about the bitcoin value is becoming increasing. It depends on you if you will invest also in other altcoins which other value is down. But for me I hodl bitcoin because I can earn profit for a long term investment.

It will end up on simply holding a lot of Bitcoin and waiting for the right time. But if you will focused on not just earning but also in dealing with transactions the best thing do is to actually support the system of Bitcoin for it to acquire development and changes for others. Let be more specific in terms of having a goal in not jest earning but changing the mode of transaction through out.

The fees were previously higher than they are now.
There won't be a real fork, I'd call that a switch. If we survived a real fork (BCC) this incoming one is going to be a walk in the park. Don't expect a correction at all.
Have you checked the price of BCC lately? This shitcoin is diving.

If you're looking investment wise, you could dip into promising and reputable alt coins for a better ROI.

See, when Bitcoin crashes - so do altcoins. And Bitcoin is nearing the peak of a massive bubble right now. It is bound to crash sooner or later, and when it does you can expect most altcoins to follow suit.

With that said, my suggestion would be sell crypto for fiat now while you still can, and get back in after the noobs lose their money. :P

Man Bitcoin is amazing. I think everyone should buy it right now don't worry about the price even if it is currently high you will make way more in the long run. ;)

btc prices are still fluctuating very normally, so why should we fear. Be calm and do what you usually do. I think we should trust btc and the crypto market, btc can not easily die, if that could have happened 7 years ago

hold your bitcoin, do not do transaction to avoid high transaction fee
after a segwit fully active, I think the transaction fee will be cheaper than now
but if you insist on making a transaction with a cheap transaction fee, switching the bitcoin into altcoin is a good choice ;)

Idk. I think if Bitcoin doesn't break 5k soon we could be in for a correction below 4k possibly. But there seems to have been some strange movement overnight. Looking at the global marketcap it looks like over $6 billion left the space in a matter of an hour or so. When Bitcoin spiked to $4700 yesterday, a huge influx of around $3 billion entered the space almost immediately. After the $6 billion was pulled out, another 3-4 billion USD came back into the space. Also, stocks saw around $30 billion leave the stock market. Most of that money went to emerging markets in Asia but I'd feel confident in saying that spike and dip in the marketcap was from Wall Street players. Go on coinmarketcap and look at the global marketcap 1D chart and you'll see the huge drop. I'm thinking the sudden spike in btc price drew a lot of value out of alt-coins because people are FOMO'ing over all the hype going around that bitcoin could see a huge leg up to $5-10k. I'm kind of worried myself. Not sure what to expect.

You are right! There are so many people who are not giving up on Bitcoin and this is shown by the fact that Bitcoin already broke the $4,500 psychological blockage and there is a possibility that it can climb higher soon.  Of course, there remains to be the big problems with Bitcoin and things are not yet optimal as it should be but all of these things are just success pains...these would not be any problem if Bitcoin is not as big as today. Slowly but surely there are already people who are working hard to make Bitcoin a better and more vigorous cryptocurrency as it should be. We just have to continue on believing with Bitcoin and soon we can get the rewards we are all looking for.

Don't panic dude, I am not assuming that the coming fork is exactly like Aug fork but it calms me down at least. Yeah there is a bit of a down but some used that time to buy because prices are low. Then look where it got us, 4k+ $. Do not doubt bitcoin man. I just recommend Holding your BTC, forks are a bit risky in tradings at that time. Let us just be patient.

Indeed, bitcoin certainly has a chance of success with a relatively short time with trading or long-term investment. And I think now if you do not have an urgent need, it's better to hold and store bitcoin as an investment that will definitely benefit by the end of this year

Switching to other cryptos will not be a wise decision.We have already seen bitcoin facing many critical situation and successfully overcoming them.Many people have become weaker hands by selling their bitcoins to big whales at a cheaper price.Then,they regret for their decision.Hard fork in august has even proved the potential of bitcoin since it survived and  increased in price very high after the hard fork.BCH is nothing but an altcoin.It has no new features to deliver and it would only remain alive until some miners continue to mine it and until big whales continuing to pump and dump it.

Miners switching to bitcoin cash is just a temporary case and miners are just shifting between two coins to make maximum profit out of their mining hardware this might not remain same for long time.

It is always advised to invest in multiple top trading coins to hedge against potential loss from dumps on bitcoin market.

I just monitored what is going on before making my move. But just like others have said, I'm not affected by the situation unless bitcoin price goes to 0 which is very impossible. Although is really good to have a diversify portfolio as hedge for any situation that may come along. If you mean switching to altcoins?  For me its not optimum at this stage and its really beneficial to have bitcoin as our main investment. But as I have said, it just bad to include altcoin in your portfolio as well. Just be careful though on which coin you are going to invest.


There is no right time to sell bitcoin the same as getting them. It really depend on the individual, if you think that you have profited enough and your investment have multiplied already then its up to you to sell or hold on it. Personally, if I don't have to do with my bitcoin then I wouldn't sell it but hodl as long as I can.

Best thing to do with bitcoins is to believe in bitcoins and hold as bitcoins has always been the long term investment.As for current situations i don't think so that transactions fees are that high when you compared it to price increased.The only thing that makes difficult to do is to make small transactions as transaction fees are up to $5 or something.Miners going to BCH is for only small period of time I do think they would shift back to bitcoins.Also remember that bitcoins are limited which will make them valuable in future.

Situation? I see you re quite new in crypto. There s no need for you to panic, we ve seen similar FUD even before and in the end BTC always, always, ALWAYS prevails. Traders re actually quite bullish, I expect us to see $5k per BTC before the end of this month. So there s really no situation. Try to get as many BTC as possible and you ll do good.

I've spend some time reading tradingview today and to my surprise the majority of people were bullish about BCC and LTC. According to them these two are going to go up soon. BTC of course along with them, this one has been racing since last year.

That's right no bad situation right now, I also still keep bitcoin i have and will not sell it. Yes the reason is the same, I also expect $5k per BTC at the end of this month and after seeing bitcoin prices stay at $4.5k today, I just hope we can see $5k tomorrow.

Bothering yourself over the future won't change any  thing especially one which you cannot even influenced no matter how you wish to and that is the situation we are now. I have learned that, we will always be faced with situations after situations but what is key is do we allow this events influence our  decision or not. For me, I live my life and do my things when it suits me and not because of the current challenges so do same and you realize you will have peace.

What exactly the current situation is about bitcoin. It is in the process of establishing and acceptance. I think for currency there is no peak because it does not belong to somebody. So I think best thing to do for the current situation is bitcoin is getting fame and everybody likes this digital currency. And we must follow the new currency and replace it to the existing paper currency.

It is very hard to answer this question. NO one predicts the future and all are doing a guessing game based on facts but not sure whether those things can happen or not. If you worry about losing your investments, then you can invest in any products. So the thing about long term profits then starts investing. In the long run, I believe Bitcoin prices go higher than current prices so just buy in small quantities whenever prices go down and wait for right time to sell.

I think the best thing do is HOLD.  The transactions price can be high but it has the possibility to be low. It is very hard to know what will happen on the next days so it is better if you hold your bitcoin because the price can be good next time.

I agree with you the current best condition is to hold it, I see bitcoin development is better after a few days ago prices corrected down due to some issues in china, but with a few days it can go back up, unlike last year need time long enough to go back up  ;D

Yes of course interested index is not the sign of profitable business. One can do environmental scanning before investing his capital and I think it is the best thing which everyone should do before jumping in any business.

The same can be done in bitcoin too because bitcoin is also a currency business. Just look at the trust in and the people interest in it, so the current situation will be clear.

Reconsider current situation on quietly, cause any of your foolish decisions may be very importantin longer perspective time.
Sum up all latest news from around the world, how people/goverments and law perceive BTC and how they would in near or longer future.

But as most in that topic, propably holding the bitcoin is the best way now, cause BTC still try hard to reach 5k $, it is very important number which will order next steps.

The best thing to do is to compel holding your Bitcoin. Bitcoin cash is still new, ofcourse at first it will capture the attention of other users that might lead to some of the users of Bitcoin to transfer into it. Wventually, the results will show, that Bitcoin is still better. And when that time happen, users will go back to Bitcoin and the demand will again increase. There's no need to worry with that situation, when everything didn't go as planned, just holdi your Bitcoin.

Bitcoin Cash is going to die soon, for sure... as miners that switched are switching back to Bitcoin as we speak. It was doomed from the start... only a matter of time until the price continues falling and falling to $0.

I'll keep hold of bitcoin because I believe it. maybe you can switch to hold bitcoin cash if you think that's a good thing. anyway your decision is all in your hands if you think switching to another cryptocurrency is a good thing to overcome it.
