60% of hash rate in one poo. Fork split, I guess that's it.

Eh we shall see haven't mined WDC in a while but the thing about it as you all jump off of it its diff will drop and drop and eventually be profitable again lol. Am I correct in its design?

Saw the hashrate drop significantly and was thinking what happened.

To many coins on the market.

None of this matters if the blockchain has indeed forked. Can someone verify that it's dead?

Don't think it forked. There is a danger, though.

This one bites the dust too. Thought it might actually stick around.

It actually forked a couple of days ago. Miners who were on the wrong chain lost out, that's it. Obviously not a good thing though. People are slowly starting to realise 15 second blocks for WDC means pools have to have a low percentage of the network has (30% at most or something.. rather than 50% at most).

Terracoin survived worst.

I predict WDC will go down low in price, maybe it will recover maybe it wont.

I don't know what you guys are waffling on about, WDC is still the most profitable coin to mine on both Coinchoose and CoinWar by a long way.

I certainly haven't stopped mining it. You want to cry RIP, have a look at PWC.

That chart makes it look worse than it is. The line goes almost to the bottom, which is nowhere near 0. Of course it's still ~20% drop from just 2 hours ago (and plenty more from earlier).

I haven't sold any WDC, I certainly have bought some more.

Most of the flash mining crowd are relatively clueless, the flock to whatever Coinchoose says they should be mining that hour, then they dump it and flock to the next coin. They have no idea on price and either sell at market or below to get a quicker sale. WDC is incredibly cheap, considering there is little reason to prevent it becoming more popular than LTC eventually.

Understand, mcxnow.com is full of MNC supporters with a trollbox that slanders every coin, and has been working on WDC now. Has nothing to do with whether it will go to a large exchange or not, or whether it will be a success. Worldcoin supporters were hoping it would not even go to an exchange for quite awhile since they see that groundwork needs to be completed first, which it is.

Okay sure, but when the price has dived on bter also to .0005 all i want to know is why?  what caused miners to panic, did they panic? the 2ghz network seems fine not too many have left? Why did the price dive, was it just a massive dump?

The talk on here of damaged block chain is it total FUD or not?

The weak hands let go, and when the price drops, a smart investor buys all the cheap coins at once, which we just watched happen a moment ago.
Then the investor will hold those 50k Worldcoins all to himself.
The poor get poorer and the rich get richer.

The mcxnow price will have nothing to do with its future value.

I like that it is going slow and steady.

DGC  is a copy of WDC with a 5 sec slower block time. Not improvement. Block chain records debunk your premine claim.

Neither offer any benefit.  Transaction confirmation's are only needed for big $$ transactions, otherwise the transaction is instant.  A business just needs to have software to check for double spends.  I can transfer Bitcoin into coinbase right now, and trade it away within 1 minute.  All Digicoin did was try and mimic the fair start of Nibble and lower the transaction confirmation time.

which coin out there adjusts difficulty over short time not blocks just curious what the first one was? That is a feature in WDC DGC MNC that is nice for miners.

doesn't coinbase assume the risk if the transaction does not confirm.  besides they processing time to a fiat bank account still takes time.  longer than it should really, so all coinbase is doing is offsetting the confirmation time to the bank account processing time and in their terms they can roll back any transaction at will.

I don't think most stores accept personal checks anymore. Atleast not in Canada. Kind of redundant, with interact / visa debit cards.
