Title: Parity gbp/usd/eur?
Post by: dumbtool45 on August 30, 2017, 07:57:21 AM
Very soon we will get to a moment where parity of gbp/usd/eur will be the same.

At the moment eur is almost at the same level with usd. And Gbp is not staying very good. EUR and USD are continously rising.

What do you think? Will gbp grow about after the begging of brexit moves?

Harvey hitting on Houston, the Brexit on London, current USD/EUR exchange rate like 0.8300 that has been a weak Dollar recently, getting worser.
Bitcoin is not rising, those fiats are loosing substance.
Parity would require one more desaster hitting precisely onto the EUR. Perish the thought!

0.83 usd/eur? When it was so closer? Well it was 0.87 but never constant over 0.8. GBP is still not recovering after the brexit impact.

So I find  your theory WRONG.

I do not think so. British pound will remain the most valued currency. Brexit will strengthen sterling, Trump will devaluate USD, Euro is nonsense at all.

If those three will be the same; why dont you add Canadian Dollar, Swiss Frank and Yen and Yuan

Lets make all currencies same and viva le bitcoin

Not really about trump and usd. I think Trump will have the best presidency from the last years. I don't get why people appreciated so much Obama.

About swiss, they have a real big growing in the last few years. About CNY, sadly I can't say what is happening because of their government and their strange way to manipulate the stocks.

Errm... USD / EUR are actually moving away from each other right now. They approached parity 2015 to early 2017, but since about half a year the USD has been steadily losing ground.

The EUR is still weaker than during the bubbles of 2013, mind you. It was interesting to see the old EUR ATH of BTC being broken much earlier than the old USD ATH. A nice reminder of how even traditional currencies have a certain amount of volatility in relation to each other.

GBP is a shipwreck right now. Too much inflation and too many economic uncertainties regarding the future relationship with continental Europe. Will be interesting to see how this plays out.

But no matter what your native currency, BTC is currently beating them all, which is nice.

All currencies on equal level beeing of course an impossibility. These areas are vastly differing in size by landmass alone.
1 USD = 0.8392 EUR at the moment, btw.

Honestly what will devaluating the dollar bring to god's own country? He appeared on the political stage to make Amerika strong again. Oh, and to cut down on flooding emergency aid but let us hope on Melania now, for Houston's sake.
Doh, however, maybe we will have to flee into bitcoins just to dodge them politics. Cant argue, things working out very well at these bullish monthes.

We are still quite a way off of parity across the 3 currencies, I would suspect that once brexit becomes more defined the pound will become stronger, uncertainty always leads to weakness.
