North Korea flashed a Hwasong-12 ballistic missile at a maximum altitude of 550 km, flew more than 2,700 km and crossed the Japanese sky before dropping into the North Pacific Ocean. Experts say there are many reasons for Pyongyang's use of the trajectory, which includes geographic and historical factors.

I think the message is pretty simple here, the North Koreans wants the Japanese to know that they are capable of hitting them whenever they want, Japan and South Korea should have an anti missile shield in place in order to thwart any future attacks by the North Koreans because this is a direct threat.

I think the leadership of North Korea will end up badly with these tests. You can not act so irresponsibly in the world arena.

I think it is a warning and also preparation of war as well as north korea shows that they have strong war power and do not want to be underestimated, we see the future like what.

I also see this news from my tv, I think north korea wants to show the world that their country can not be underestimated, north korea has often been reprimanded by pbb over missile launching, but north korea did not respond to the reprimand and still try to hold the missile . I think later North Korean missiles could circle the earth.

I think DPRK have the right test any technology for its security purpose but placing trajectory of their missile through an independent country is not a diplomatic gesture. There were plenty other trajectories that may have taken.

No. There was no other choice for the North Koreans. If they try to avoid Japan, then they may need to fire their missiles over China or Russia, which will make these nations angry. Another choice is to fire them over South Korea, but that will result in immediate war.

If Kim Jong Un want to fight the Americans, then why he is trying to provoke the peaceful Japanese? Why can't he launch his missiles over Guam, Alaska or Hawaii? Doesn't have the balls to do that?
