Title: Korecoin - Speculation and Possible upcoming pump
Post by: bitphonics on August 30, 2017, 05:33:10 PM
This coin seems to be run by a very professional team of developers and it has a good specific use case. What is the communities thoughts on it's future value and upcoming pumps. It took a while for it to hit a major exchange (bittrex in July of this year), but now that it is out in the world it seems to have pretty good growth. Also with such a small marketcap I can't see this not going to the moon. (Gosh I hate that phrase)

I've talked to Mike the developer and he's a game guy. Very into his project for sure but this coin has gone 2.5x in the recent past. That said, I can't quite find the need for this coin. What is the specific use case?

The specific use case for Kore would be it's VoiP application. The only other currency in the market with VoiP in mind is EncryptoTel, which is still in ICO and has yet to be released to the market. VoiP is big business, and having worked for some major companies I can attest that it still has some growing pains that I think Kore is set up to solve. If you have ever used bluejeans or Google you know the pain. Also the hard annonymity involved with transfers is hugely beneficial to those who are worried about their privacy.

I'm still new to the crypto-scene, but VoiP seems like a highly lucrative arena for play.

Thanks for that. I saw VoIP and didn't quite understand the actual application for it. Still not there but a little clearer. New or not, it's very difficult to keep up with all of it. From an investor standpoint, you learn what you can and do your best to determine how to interpret incoming data but there's a shitload of it.

Too bad I didn't buy Core when it was in the low 30s. I used to see it go from 28-40 and kept reminding myself to buy it but I won't stay in coins long enough if I'm not comfortable with what I'm buying. For me, it doesn't matter if I think it will go up or not. I have to be comfortable with the product because crypto valuations in general are insane and if you stay in long enough, there are those coins that do decline and don't come back. Contrary to the popular "just hodl" sentiment, it doesn't always work and people tend not to advertise their losses.

Thanks again and cheers.

Do you think its still worth buying in for the short term? Or dip incoming?
