Title: Do you consider switching to Binance?
Post by: kokskarl on August 30, 2017, 05:42:06 PM
Hey, I am seriously considering moving my trading assets from Poloniex and Bittrex to the Binance platform. Fees are:

Poloniex: 0.15 / 0.25 %
Bittrex: 0.25%
Binance: 0.1% / 0.05% when paying the fees in their coin

Also, there is no fees for trading NEO/GAS at all which looks good to me considering NEO is 15% of my portfolio. I am a little reluctant because Binance is a very new platform and operating out of China. How do you guys feel about it?

Binance fees to Withdraw to high ? self.binance

CND: Transaction Fee: 180
TRX: Transaction Fee: 100
QSP: Transaction Fee: 30
XLM: Transaction Fee: 0.01000(this is nice)
REQ: Transaction Fee: 15
ADA: Transaction Fee: 1(Maybe ok to)
VEN: Transaction Fee: 5
BRD Transaction Fee: 4
ICX: Transaction Fee: 1
ETH: Transaction Fee: 0.01
Just Some Examples

I wont be using binance anymore. First of there are these bots who just don't do shit and come and sit over your order. Then binance has 0.01 ETH withdrawal fees and 0.3 on OMG. I withdrew eth today and guess how much the transaction costed, It was 0.001 ETH. Yea 1/10th of the fees.

The fees is absurd.

Binance is a good exchange, I trade in binance, and BNB only has a 50 percent commission charge, which is quite attractive, and binance has a lot of transactions.

If thats what you wanted, then go for it i dont really holding a lot of ETH and NEO thats why i would stick to my current exchange,i invest more on small marketcap coins than highcaps.

well I say that Binance is a middle-class exchange and has the potential to equal the yobit.
THE FEE IS very makes sense among the others.

I switched to Binance over GDAX because of it's complexity and security so I'm looking forward for partnering Binance as my new home of Cryptocurrency trading.
Before I switched to Binance I'm reviewing almost all of the customers feedbacks the same way I did on the other Cryptocurrency exchanges.

So far, I have no problem with Binance but I heard complaints about it. Why not transfer a small portion of your coins and try Binance out first? After that, you can decide whether to use it solely.

I already moved to Binance and i like it: lower fees, high volume, good list of altcoins to trade, great UI and you can withdraw 2 BTC daily without verification.
I feel also lucky because i bought an amount of BNB when i moved to Binance with 2$ and now 1 BNB worths 9$.

I don't feel like I have to choose just one exchange. There are a lot of different exchanges that I check prices of the coins that I'm interested in and I buy it from the cheapest one. Even if transaction fee is cheap, total price can be more expensive eventually.

I know you posted this message last August, but if you still haven’t decided, I would suggest that you try it out first. Transfer a portion of your portfolio into Binance and then play with it. You wouldn’t really know if you won’t try it out. Just remember to only invest what you can afford to lose.

Agreed with some comments out there. I also support the idea to have all accounts on different exchanges and before you buy that specific coin you just calculate the price + transaction fee in each one of them and then decide what to do.

Yes, dont focus on one platform. fess are only one point. think on the exchange rates and maybe difficulties with high traffic, the local law or maybe hacking attacks. How is the support and so on. Be more independent with different exchanges.

I got to know about Binance exchange lately and from what i have seeing so far it is a good crypto currency exchange which is worthwhile in trading crypto currency because you can find many coins that are not available in some other crypto currency exchange.

I think this is a very good trading platform, because the rest of the exchanges are already enough and do not add a new coin, and this exchange is now one of the best

Let me just list the pros and cons that I have found while using Binance:

Pros

-Incredibly low trading fees, especially when you use Binance Coin
-Binance Coin itself is an attractive investment as the company buys back coins and burns them.
-High volume, you can make really quick short trades very easily
-Fast and responsive
-Has events and projects where you can vote for a coin to be listed or participate in an ICO

Cons

-Withdrawal fees are high
-The UI is not as user friendly as other exchanges

So, as you can see, I actually like Binance a lot.  IT's the type of exchange where you keep your money there and do a lot of trades.  When it comes time to withdraw, you need to do a big chunk at a time.

I use both.... the amount of profit you make is far far more than any of the fees... I would not worry about it. If you spent that time into finding good coins you are better off.

I have already switched to binanace, it doesn't support all coins that I want tho but their exchange is great so far, haven't had any problems with them. I made a switch since bittrex support don't answer on your tickets which raises big red flag and consearns to me - in the past I used bittrex and polo mostly, now I have swithched to binance. Fee is 0.1% , plus if you have BNB token you can even lower the fees for 50% first year of their existance, check out more here at : https://support.binance.com/hc/en-us/articles/115000497111-Binance-Coin-BNB-

Well the fees are obviously high - but you get other benefits from trading @ binance:

1. Withdraws are quite fast (compared to Bittrex at least)
2. BNB trading fees 50% lower than regular TX fees (ok - you need to own BNB)
3. Almost weekly trading competitions.
4. Support to almost all forks.

For me this four bullets make the difference. And @ the moment - if you didn´t already register on another exchange - well, now it could take some time to do so!

Cheers :)

Binance seems to have things going good right now.  I use multiple exchanges for different coins, just depending on where they are marketed.  Seems like a lot of pumps have been on coins at binance lately so I will keep doing work there...along with Bittrex and a few smaller ones.

Very interesting information. You gave me an interesting idea. Verification for Bitrex and Polonieks is a real hell. Oborzely. Danced under the American administration.

I have been using binance for the last few days, and let me tell you that their platform is horrible, the same happens with the exchange versions (traditional, proffesional) for me, it is super lagged, i dont know why there is a lot of people saying that this is the best exchange that has ever existed.
Poloniex is much more better than this one

I've been using Binance since it first went live.  It's a great exchange and the trading volumes are growing daily.  I still use other exchanges such as Bittrex and Poloniex.  It doesn't hurt to use multiple exchanges for your trading and there is no need to switch over and abandon the others.

I think Binance is one of the best exchange now. Using it last 3 month and don't want to get back to bittrex and polonex. Binance add new  good alts witch you can not get in others exchanges. And I think it will be in top 5 exchanges for a long time

I really liked this exchange, I prefer it at this time. But there is one drawback. You cannot sell everything that is on account of tenths, it is not convenient when 0.9 coins is irrelevant. Now the registration to the stock exchange open in the afternoon for a few hours, I guess that's good.
