Title: Report a thread.
Post by: Here4Trades on August 30, 2017, 09:13:24 PM
Lately I have seen that many people which came for first time on the forum and sometimes people who has been around little time, fall in these scams by member who lock threads and  scam peoples.
If various members report the same locked thread because WE KNOW that is a menace for the communty hence the OP is a proven scammer does it make sense if an Staff removes it ?

I guess many people is able to create accounts and start doing so to non-scammers  but I'm talking about something based in a logical way by the staff and the community checking these reports, because the seller is already a proven scammer and is selling non existent goods/coins/funds. I  mean if we are a community we should take care of this issue.

edit : I sincerly think if someone is selling " non existent goods/coins/funds  and is proved " is perfectly spam.

Ill appreciate your thoughts about this

H4T.

I have seen this all the time in the Digital Good board. One guy creating several threads, locking them, and selling fake stuff on Rocketr. Of course he had negative trust on both websites, but people don't care...

And theymos doesn't care either, and that's most important.   Scams aren't going to get moderated here unless he decides to do it, and what OP described is a subset of scam.  Wouldn't be hard to make rules and enforce them--you just have to nuke topics and ban users.  I don't want to hear excuses for the status quo.   Other forums can do it just fine.  You don't need an army of mods, just the will to act.

Guys I'm not talking about the scams  being moderated I'm talking about us not letting them scam others by  spammy threads, can't be considerated as spam if " they say they'r selling something they don't have ? "  ?
