I would like to join a mining pool, but not sure where to start? I was looking at BTC Guild. I run Ubuntu 12.10. Is there any mining pool software that I can use with Ubuntu? Thank you! Then type in the pool's address into the mining software. I'm sure most mining software is compatible. Now just open that directory and run cgminer. You might be able to right click it and run it from the gui, it sounds like you don't know how to use the terminal. If you can use the terminal just cd to that directory and type ./cgminer |
