Title: Any Altcoin faucets?
Post by: laalex323 on August 31, 2017, 12:03:46 AM
Does anyone know any crypto currency faucets? Besides Bitcoin, bitcoin cash, doge, dash, peer coin, prime coin, black coin, ethereum, and litecoin. I've been trying to look for some in bitcointalk but all I see on here are faucethub faucets or common crypto currency coin faucets. ???

What? You want AltCoin faucets, but you exclude several important currencies (probably all AltCoins that have faucets)...

Seems you already have your answer: FaucetHub faucets! If you don't want to use their list, use a third party rotator, there are several threads on this section about it with many faucets giving AltCoins as reward, some of them better than many BTC faucets.

You hardly can find faucets, which pays others than your mentioned coins. Mostly altcoin faucets paying via Faucethub. There are not many faucet for other coins, because it's more complicated to operate it, owner have to do everything manually. It's much easier to create faucet with already existing coin on Faucethub.
If you want to get altcoins, you need to participate in bounty campaigns, airdrops and etc.
Or just exchange btc earned from faucets to different altcoins.

Try to view the list of altcoin faucets in Faucetdump. They have a lot of choices of coins there, besides those you mentioned, including Waves, ZCash, Monero, Coin Magi, Nem, etc. Cryptoguru is also a good place to find faucets. Currently, they have 114 faucets available for 2133 known digital currencies.

Faucet is not a main game for free money now my friend, nobody wants to throw their coins which are in a good price to faucet.
If a worthless faucet , you also don't want to get it.
Another way to instead of faucet is air drop .

Yeah... faucetdump has quite the list. So does faucethub.
But I also agree with the poster above, look for airdrops and try to meet their requirements. Joining campaign bounty pays way more than faucet and you spend less time. Frankly, fauceting is a relic of the past unless you are fauceting brand-new coins like graviocoin. Gravio is still in ICO and already have a faucet up and running - giving you whole coins and not just fractions

itself very long searched for the answer on the same question, looking for sites, forums, and various reference materials. And that's what happened, the information I found, but unfortunately, more than half of the coins have not traded, nearly half of the valves, balance the empty. I'm not sorry for the time spent, as I learned new information about the crypto that are also useful.

I never heard about Faucetdump before. Now I checked it and I see advertised popular Bitcoin, Litecoin, Doge, Dash, Blackcoin, Primecoin and Peercoin faucets. But how about all other coins? Mostly lists was updated only almost year ago. Is it the faucets legit?

do not play the faucet waste of time and exhausting time, better you start trying from trading, buy some altcoin using bitcoin, I think it's more work, than you wasting your spare time for faucet

It may be waste of time for some of us but for others that are enjoying faucets, it's good for them. I have seen some people on facebook promotes clamcoin faucets.

I don't have an idea on how many you can get there, I just seen it when I was browsing my profile on it.

There are still some faucets running but I wouldn't recommend that because it will take you forever to hoard a couple of those coins. I think its better if you just invest on bitcoin instead or spare some of your savings and trade or invest bitcoin or altcoins instead of wasting your time on faucets.

I never tried altcoins ever. When I was reading its information for its related to each of cryptocurrencies I mean its similar to one another. But I've got confused about how can I participate in social campaigns, and etc. SpeciallyI am not sure with the faucets.

Claiming or earning from faucets is not profitable anymore. But with altcoins it make sense. You should visit FaucetHub faucet lost there you may find some trusted and paying faucets.

BTW, Faucethub recently added Ethereum to their services. Now you can earn Ethereum from their faucets. One disadvantage that their payout treshold is not very small and it can took some time to reach it. But you can use Faucethub exchange to convert Ethereum into bitcoins, or just hold ETH on Faucethub.

I found a perfect site for you OP. This site has the most coins available, even the latest ones. And it is more profitable than the faucets. You can earn by surveys, watching videos, playing games etc. You'd love it: https://www.earncrypto.com

Faucethub has a nice list of all faucets for the coins they support (BTC, LTC, ETH, BCH, BLK, XPM, DOGE, DASH, PPC). But the rewards they list are not up to date anymore. Furthermore there a lot of rotators you can find on this forum who list many faucets for the several coins.

Faucets will give low reward, but sometimes I find them fun to do  :)

I agree it's not other really worth any time or effort but it's worth just having open your desktop while you're on the pc anyway. Sites have already been linked but also staking your coins and holding likely pays more depending how much you have stored

Do you think anyone can enjoy solving captchas for 15 satoshi? Some users here are doing this like it is job 8 hours every day and they don't see that they are not earning money only cents.

I agree that faucets are a waste of time, if you want to EARN money from them. But don't overlook faucets and faucet collectors as just dismissive people. You know, a lot of people aren't really there to earn money. They're spending free time, and curious about crypto, and faucets are just a fun way to get rewarded. Not all faucets are about solving captchas. Some are about games, and interaction.

If you ever doubt faucets, see what it did for Bitcoin.

Wide distribution leads to mass adoption.
