Title: Convert DAO to ETH at Poloniex disabled since months!
Post by: toto79 on September 01, 2017, 05:58:20 PM
I was in the hospital, so I couldn't use the DAO conversion tool on Poloniex. (100 DAO = 1 ETH)

The DAO conversion has not worked for months now. The page can be opened but after pressing "Convert DAO" only "Withdrawals for this currency are temporarily disabled" appears. Poloniex support hasn't responded in months.

Does anyone know a solution to this problem or do I have to call in a lawyer now?

I have read that a "Demand letter for return of property" can be sent to Poloniex. It should also be possible to fill it out online.
I am European. Can I also use this letter?

Has anyone already had experience with this or any other method these days?

Has anyone been able to convert or transfer DAOs from Poloniex in the last few months?

You may as well try your demand of property letter. It most likely will be responded to and it'll be irrelevant that you're in a different jurisdiction as it's something they still have to follow in theirs.
