Title: Crypto Investment Funds
Post by: martoooo on September 01, 2017, 09:04:53 PM
Hello!

Do you know some crypto investment fund where you can apply with your ICO for funding?

Do funds like these exist?

There are several, and I can't remember them all, but the two that come to mind are:
  • Token as a Service: TaaS
  • Iconomi: ICN

I have a little bit of TaaS in MyEtherWallet and I got a dividend from them several weeks ago.

How does TaaS work? Where can you buy it?

Correction:The Iconomi index is BLX - Blockchain Index. the ICN token is the platform token, and receives buybacks profits from platform use, an their performance fund (but the ICN token itself does not represent the value of the fund alone).

BLX is currently available on the ICN website, or through ethdelta

I'm trying to remember, so don't quote me on this.  I believe it was a quarterly dividend, I held 80-ish TaaS, and received .1 Ether when it was around $180.  Quick napkin math says that's a respectable 20% dividend, but I don't remember the price of Ether or TaaS at the time.  I also don't know when the next dividend is coming.  All that said, TaaS is the perfect problem that a blockchain and an ICO can solve for.  Check them out:
