While staying on this forum I want to know can cellphones be hack like Computer's desktop and laptop's? You will see if someone is watching you at you laptop or desktop because the light will turn on right but as for cellphones no you will not see if someone is there watching your every move in your daily life basis.

Yes, cellphones can indeed be hacked. But your laptop's / webcam's light doesn't make you safe as some of them can be disabled and most people don't even bother with webcam, they can steal your data.
There are several RATs for Android phones which can steal your data, access your camera and more, I'd recommend using open source applications only.

Yeah, they are crafty. I've seen one shown on 60 Minutes. They contacted a hacker and had him hack into the reporters phone. He can listen to calls and even watch through the phone's cam. Thankfully, being small enough means you'll probably not be a target of such surveillance, though they'd still steal and sell your data.

yes, I'm not an expert on security,  but globally system use the same layers of Network Protocol, there exist may be some hack who can use on all these system. After that, when all the system are open of development tier, each app installed can be open a rift. And yes, app make with bad security became an open door of your system.

I am certain with help from the NSA,FBI,CIA,KGB and other intelligent services in the world made sure that the phones now in the market that's the smartphones was built to specifically spy on its users. i dont know if it has to do them fighting terrorism or they have ulterior motives.

You know what, nothing is safe now if a skilled hacker is onto you. Cellphones are prone to hacking as much as computers are so better make extra precautions if you're storing important information on your phones

I think the government actually requires it to be backdoored in some way. Smart phones have drivers and firmware that are closed source which exist along side iOS / Android.

It's not just the hacking, it's that the phone company and probably others know where all their phones are all the time, and they can easily record where they have been.

Yes absolutely it can be hack specially now a days our technology is more advance that before and that is the reason why our mobile devices is always have the possibility to be hack or breach. Since our cellphones are automated it always have a chance to be breach. Also we do not know exactly what kind of parts they put in out cellphones.

Yes, indeed all kinds of device that can connect to the internet can be hacked. Specially when you download some apps that are not trusted, it can potentially steal your personal information through these apps. So we need to be extra careful of what we download and who we share our gadgets with.

Pretty sure they could. I mean to remotely manipulate a cellphone is very much attainable. Laptops and desktops have way more higher security than a cellphone. With a cellphone, gps and location manager more information will be drawn from it. Also, programs could be accessed through a phone without putting in a username and password

I think this is possible. Only the government have the top of the line technology that can track anyone in the world using technology. We may not know it, but we are being watched. There was this movie that exposed the government on how they keep track of every person in the world. SNOWDEN is the title, the main character was like a whistle blower exposing the dark secrets of hacking. Connecting to a open WIFI network makes your phone vulnerable to hackers and it is possible your phone will be hacked.

Yes, it's possible to get invaded when you connect to a public wifi because most of your whereabouts have been exposed.

Definitely, one brand of cellphone is updating the units to spy other countries activities by creating private companies of thier own and sell it to other countries.  Private citizens will buy it but little did they know it is being looked at by the country maker of the phone what was really happening with that country user.
