Title: lost 260 btc through blockchain shared wallet :(
Post by: fly on May 23, 2013, 10:20:51 PM
So, I accidently have sent 260 btc to the blockchain shared wallet now knowing their limits is 250 btc. According to the site, this should be returned to the senders wallets, however 8 days later this still has not happened, and no reply to my emails from blockchain.

Any help is hugely appreciated as this is really such a huge amount for me to lose.

Thank you

I would probably be a bit scared to send 260 btc anywhere in one transaction nowdays.. :)

Good everything went well. Still, I don't think I would have used an online service for such a large amount.

Even though it's probably well run and all that, nothing is 100% secure against hacking/exploiting etc. when exposed to the internet.

While that is true, bitcoin is virtually unhackable. I think it says that on the bitcoin video.

Yes, bitcoin is very secure. I was talking about the site blockchain.
