My question is why?

You go after return/growth...since you can get fractions of a coin, it doesn't matter what their price is.

Most cheap coins are cheap for a reason...unless they are really new that you know is good, stir away from them.

Of all these coins, I would only choose ripple. And I would have kept this coin for several years. It seems to me that she still havoyuet world. Many analysts say that this coin will be very expensive in a few years

i was remember that some people underestimate REDDCOIN cannot survive because the price seems very low several years ago but apparently some of them had wrong predictions because REDDCOIN could survive until now and from all coins you're mentioned above i think you have to try invest to this coin but i cannot guarantee about the profit because altcoin market seems unpredictable for me

Yes exactly the price of reddcoin is 0.00003$ in 2014 and now is 0.001$
I heard the same things now about reddcoin and the application of this coin in social media
but actually I don't know about the details of application.

100% Ripple coin. More aiming to get into advanced and everyday industry.

Already got large contracts/backing. Plus looking to get more.

In my opinion, SIA and burst might have some future, otherwise other coins won't work.
I'd rather add DNT to the llist.

Siacoin, dgb, verge, xem and ripple are included in my portfolio. I believe this have a bright future with the price it can go up. So holding is best for these coins which offer a profit.

Actually I am so curious about dogecoin, you know the ideas about dogecoin are very different, some think that based on the high supply
of dogecoin, it has no future, what do you think?

I would choose golem, because they have a good project with crowd supercomputer. And I would choose doge, just for fun :)

You ahve a nice list of coins there. Maybe add some Elastic in the list also. It has far too less of a market cap when you compare it with Golem and the team is near completion.

For now, when cryptomarket falls, there will be a lot perspective coins under 1$.

MAID for me - good project, strong development team and very active community. Long term goal, that they're working slowly towards...in the right way.

from that option i pick on ripple and BTS, both of it have good move in the price, and maybe Siacoin is good to pick too. it depends of that option that OP mentioned

You chose good coins indeed. Among the list above, you might want to invest into ripple, burst, bitshares and bytecoin. These have a good potential indeed. The mentioned coins above has ongoing developments and therefore has a lot of potential. Add it onto the 4 altcoin you know are best to invest into this 2017. Your 4 best pick for altcoin is quite good to hold and sell at the right time.

you know, I gathered this list based on the prices of coins from 2011 to 2017.
I see the value of these coins year by year improved. maybe I forget to add some coins but actually
I try to gather the best.
I investigated just prices. I made this topic to share the technical information about these coins and the effects
on the prices. Then based on the the technical data, we chose some of them that we guess these coins have good future.

 

Ripple is so good to invest. It's market value is really good.

Depends on your plan I guess; if you're in it for the long run then I recommend Maid https://maidsafe.net/safecoin.html (https://maidsafe.net/safecoin.html). It's a slow burner but they're doing some really awesome things and if it takes off then we could essentially see a new internet. The tech team is really dedicated to seeing it through to the end and their focus is on creating something that will work rather than rushing to market. They do regular and more importantly, honest updates every Thursday evening and there's plenty of social channels you can join to find out more. Current price is ~$0.50.

Terracoin, read up on it. Been around since 2012, but recently got the attention of some developers that is hardforking it in 4-5 weeks and implementing alot of new cool stuff. Really cheap coin. :)

I think a pretty good Rise verge because I got a lot of profit from coin that might be in the next year the price will be much nicer longer

I also choose ripple. It is safer than other coin

Ripple, Golem and Basic Attention Token are best options

Today I spent some time to find gems in cryptocurrency market. I also believe super computer coins will return back stronger than ever. I am pretty sure Verge, Redd, Artbyte and Musicoin are all good investments for future, too.

If you did not get in before March you already missed the boat. You will b buying our dumps...  ;D

From my point of view, coin like XVG, XRP, GNT or DGB are able to show us something beautiful !
But we will have to be patient ...

I think siacoin is the best altcoin under 1$ in which you can invest. The concept of decentralized cloud storage is a project which can become popular in future and hence you can expect good returns from it.

Well, DeepOnion just went under the 1$ bar, so, you can count it in :D
Just so you know, it's a really new altcoin, based on Tor,  and we're talking about a low reserve, with only 21 Million coins. Volume increased three-folds in two weeks, and we were at a peak of 6$ last week. 1$ is the support price that has been around since its entrance on exchange, but the 6$ peak was not planned so early.

Look at the total cap the individual token price is totally irrelevant.

Why do you care if the token is under a dollar? if the MC is huge?

I'll advice you to go for Steem and elastic. I believe these coins will worth above $10 before December next year.

My gutt feeling is that the best picks are not even on the mentioned lists. Except for short pumps, there must be some upcoming projects with interesting new concepts we are not yet aware of.

You can buy siacoin at bittrex for example. But before you do your investment, you should do your own investigations, so you know, in what kind of company you are investing your money. Read their whitepaper, join the community so you can see, whether they are in a stable environment.

Im my opinion stellar has the biggest potential while also being relatively safe investment.

Bitshares and EOS are both under $1 right now and both projects run by the same big name - Dan Larimer. Sure he may be controversial but i feel like his coins gets pumped the most and right now, they are pretty stable in price.

Probably a good entry point.

Steem is just floating around the $1 mark as well, and they have a huge community. A pump is overdue.

I'm mainly looking at the second page of the coinmarketcap.com site, because that is where the most potential can be found in my opinion. Prices can swing a lot in just 24h, doubling or even tripling the prices of the previous day.

For me, loopring and quantum resistant ledger are two coins under $1 i would buy in right now.

Just my opinion though.

I advise you to look at the movement of these coins for the current year. Now they are heavily crushed by the bottom, but for the future and with this capital, invest in then, Dogkoin, Verge, Rise I think so.

Stellar has recently accomplish huge achievement. And they have been growing in values in the recent week. Stellar is definitely a good project with great team but the price can be a bit too high right now. So i will pick it up when it has its correction.

In my opinion, your list is mostly garbage. No offense though. You may want to look at some projects that has 'programming in the blockchain' capabilities. Sia might only be the interesting one on your list.

I know this is a relatively old reply but i would like to counter your argument.

IT's all psychological. People feel like that there is a lot more room for a 1 cent coin to go to 2 cents, than a $6000 bitcoin to go to $12000. That's just how it works - human psychology. For me i like to invest in tokens/coins that are in the $0.5 or less range.

Right now? Definitely dogecoin. Pump is coming very soon.

My list is BQX, FAIR, EDG, STORJ... I realize those coins have a steady growth and a small volatility. I believe their price will go up in the future. :)

Good list and I've got two choice so far and those are Digibyte and SIACOIN. If you did know what happened to DGB they have won the CITI award on July and this coin isn't just a pump and dump coin because they've got a long term plans for developing the alt coin. With Siacoin, it is also the same so for those people that still doesn't have it and if you are still looking for altcoin to purchase go for it.

For me, a good project is BLITZ. A strong team of developers and an active community. Long-term investments. one project with Stratis

There are a lot of altcoins in market. But one thing that is if you care a dollar then you cannot buy altcoin in 2017 . You do NOT look at token price EVER. Focus on best coins on cheap price which market values are good in future. Dont focus on best altcoins under a fixed budget.

Ripple is so good to invest. It's market value is really good.
From my point of view XVG,  DGB ar also good altcoins .

I think that you hardly get a good profit investing IN ANY asset is 1$ or less. Especially in the coins of your list. All the coins in your list are already shot and is unlikely to do it again.

I think you're right, the cheap altcoin is hard to grow in and even it can disappear.
 There is no reason for us to invest in things that are too risky.

My advice to you: always pay attention to the price of altcoins to switch to the coining of coins, the price of which soars!

XEM has not shown its real potential i think. great active team, a lot of great things coming for them. I loaded up.

I would advise you guys to keep a look at Ardor and Xrb!
the first might be already on a higher cap but has easily a 5x potential next year. Where xrb is the more risky bet but certainly with higher possible gains since the actual market cap is really low.

I would bet everything in that Golem and Digibyte and one of the most promising altcoins that will ever exist, i am in love with those coins because they have a lot of support in China, and in the whole Asia too.
But there are a few more cryptos that will increase by a lot of money during this last two months left until we are on 2018. 0xproject is a very good coin too, but it is freezed, i dont know why it is not increasing, it is weird.

I have ripple coin and I think uts better to invest ti that coin because in my own resesrch I see the potentiam to increase the price in the future but it depends on the demand on the market. But the percentage is very high. But it's your coice if you buy ripple. You can make a research so you can know what coin is the best to you that gives you high profit in the future. Be careful of what you invest.
