You forgot to mention this: Collateral should be held in escrow by a trusted escrow provider on this forum.

If you seriously intend to lend, you should require collateral to secure the loan but it should be held by a trusted mediator or middle man and not you. This is to protect borrowers from being victimized or scammed by fake lenders offering fictitious or imaginary loans. Having collateral escrowed means borrowers are protected in case you decide to take the collateral and disappear without actually lending anything.

Having read the above, are you still interested in "lending" 5 BTC? Or did you have other plans in mind which I might have ruined?

Don't be an idiot, or you will get negative truist for promoting a ponzi.

This is a clear scam, as they "guarantee" everyone will be paid, yet there is no money in a trusted escrow.

Why haven't you negative tagged him yet ? He is clearly promoting a Ponzi by hijacking someone's thread,in my opinion you should tag him accordingly.Such guaranteed investments never work out and people end of losing a lot of money.Since the account is also a newbie, there is no reliability. Please tag him Vod.

I agree. I don't see any difference between the scamers themselves and the promoters of the scam (they may be the same person/s as far as we know).

I did left him myself negative trust, but I'm not a DT so it should make little difference.

@OP: Sorry for being offtopic and I wish you good luck.

Why don't you update your main thread to include the type of collateral you accept, because I wanted to find out if you accept Snr Member accounts as collateral, I know only one person here who accepts these accounts so if you specified your collateral it would make things easier and reduce these unnecessary questions.

Do not be so categorical, newbie  is also a human being, sometimes they can offer valid collateral :)

Good to see you are asking loan with a collateral worth nearly 4.6 BTC but in case of default how the lender able to liquidate the coins as I am able to see there is no exchange available for the coins.
Do you think the currency which can't be liquidated at the time of loan request will be treated as Valid Collateral?
