Title: Something is wrong with post counts (again) Post by: deisik on September 04, 2017, 09:12:35 PM It looks like 170 posts of mine have disappeared today, but if I check my post history I see some glaring discrepancies. My profile page shows the following picture:

This is not so much about posts deleted As about the wrong post count in the profile page which mismatches the real post count as seen in the post history. I suspect it is sort of a forum engine bug or something to that tune (unless someone does something nasty, which I hope is not the case here). It happened before but I didn't check my post history back then, so it might in fact be a recurring issue, and thus no posts got actually deleted. Mine is: 21351 vs. the profile showing 20718.
I think that it may even be related to the last time that the post count of a lot of people (including myself) has dropped. Theymos should run the recounting function of SMF; that would fix it if it isn't something grave.
