Title: Most profitable pool for 1 GH/s rig? Post by: dykast on June 23, 2011, 12:28:26 PM I keep switching between pools to figure out which one is going to give me the best bang for the buck. And I just keep getting lost. Right now im on Eclipse as they have 0% fees and send emails or sms for free when a miner is down. But they are only doing 30 GH/s and we have been on a block for 2 days. Would I be better off with a bigger pool. I still can't figure out the maths for proportional vs. slush yadda yadda yadda.
Any help is appreciated. :) Title: Re: Most profitable pool for 1 GH/s rig? Post by: Meni Rosenfeld on June 23, 2011, 12:47:57 PM 1. You may be interested in this (http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=10038.0).
2. You need to be in a pool for weeks or months to be able to empirically determine its profitability. 3. The most profitable pool is probably Multipool (http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=17970.0), if you're ok with joining the dark side. Otherwise I recommend either slush or Continuum.
