For coins you are interested in, connect to twitter feed. Then, come back here and just keep reading - keeping in mind that some are opinions, while most are people who have stakes in the coin they are promoting. After that, go read the coin's whitepaper and roadmap

Also try to follow alot of coins like Omisego, TenX and so on. You will get their news early. Also check out their Reddit for new rumors!

This is truly great page for us, traders. From time to time I also check http://cryptocoin.cc/ (http://cryptocoin.cc/), where they interpret and sort altcoin news. It is not the fastest source of news (compared to e.g. twitter) but it is well sorted and easy to read.
