Which ETH wallet do you prefer to use?

I use myetherwallet like most of Ethereum and its tokens holders. It is the best choice for storing Ethereums.

Like ahmadakbari, I also use myetherwallet. As I have read on threads here talking about wallets to use, they say that if you are wanting to have a wallet for alts, you need to have one with private keys. It is for much safer action, since there are lots of scammers nowadays.

I am using myetherwallet too. But I think thats not the best solution, because your coins are hosted on an external server. Its always better to store your coins at your own hardware. you can make Backups an simply restore your wallet. If myetherwallet is down, because they got hacked or something, your coins maybe getting stolen. I am going to download the local wallet in the next days.

Myetherwallet is the best one out there. You can save all you etherium based coins in the online wallet. But be very careful, as a lot of phishing attacks are going on in reference to myetherwallet. Be safe!

I am not a big Ether investor myself and have been using myetherwallet as many other do. To be honoust, I am not that impressed with the wallet so far and I would be interested to hear a bit of feedback from co-forum members about the alternative wallets (pros and cons).

Previously seen someone using ETH wallet theft, because someone sent a link to say, ETH after two encryption and so on. A lot of people believe it, and it turns out that the link wallet was stolen, so that's worth watching. I hope and suggest that all of you use the official wallet, and don't trust the links that other people send you. Otherwise, you will regret it!

Definitely MyEtherWallet. Convenient, secure (never hacked), provide private key, allows to manage ETH, ETC and ERC20 tokens. It's my favourite wallet overall.

I use myetherwallet because it can be illustrated a house with many rooms inside the house but many accommodate its inhabitants ..
so obviously though different coin names that will be stored with myetherwallet can be accessed very easily..

I also use MEW since I don't have time to download and wait for the hard wallet inside my laptop, so far I'm satisfied with their service no hassle has been
encountered, though I heard some hack with wrong url but I guess they already clear their name about it.

One day, they has an issue of phising and many complainant post in this forum and i think most of them change there wallet, so be safe and careful when you are using this myetherwallet

just use Myetherwallet . dont use any offline wallet. sometime I use exchange wallet to hold eth

I use MEW with my trezor. Trezor keeps the private keys for me, very convenient.

Some of here are using myetherwallet, because its very useful and easy to use you can add any tokens in their and this wallet was safety and have a security and must better to save you private key, and this wallet it is good to hold you tokens.

I use my ether wallet like most of you but I wonder if storing just keystore file is enough or I should also store private key. Is there also any other good ethereum wallet like my ether wallet?

wow! Its awesome to see that almost user support MEW that mens myetherwallet. Its most recommend wallet to store nor ETH but any other ERC-20 standard tokens. My advice, just alert every time when you access your acct rather, you may use mist.

just use 1 eth bittrex wallet and 1 on myether to buy token

I had used the official Ethereum Wallet before the blockchain ate 100 GB of my drive. Now I use Parity. You have full control over your Private keys but you still have to sync it. However, it only consumes 7 GB for the whole blockchain. That's not much.

You can use also the EThereum wallet in your local PC (downloaded from Github) just sync it for a couple of hours depending the weight of the Network.

I think myetherwallet.com is pretty good and easy. many people are already using MEW. my advice you live registration there is not complicated and difficult.

I have mist wallet and downloading entire chain is really pain in the ass and if you are a newbie then you would really have doubts on downloading it.For me, i would rather use Lite version which is myetherwallet.com since you can already have the keys and its already safe as long those keys arent shown in public or no one ever knows then your funds are safe.

Myetherwallet was popular holding altcoins, we know some of us here we are they same wallet we using. Because of safety to hold and the fee it is enough also so must better to choose myetherwallet.

Most of the time I'm using MEW(MyEtherWallet). And sometimes I need to use MetaMask for some special cases.

Until now I still use MEW as my ETH wallet. Although many of the hacking issues that occur in this wallet is due to many phishing sites that can make people who visit them trapped. My suggestion for who want to access the MEW site is to look at the domain several times to avoid carelessness which is danger to your assets.

Can the Trezor store all the same coins MEW can store? Someone told me the Trezor can't support all the same alts.

myetherwallet is enough for many task. But be carefully because many site scam like miether or myetther ....

I use my ether wallet. I know there are also other ethereum wallets but I don't even need to look them. Using my ether wallet is very easy and secure.

I use Jaxx wallet. But i think MyEtherWallet is the best. As you can add all ERC20 token. Jaxx has only some coins. And the transaction fees i think are too high.
I will surely next time use MyEtherWallet. Jaxx has a nice graphical interface. But it is not the best wallet. And sometimes it don't display correctly the good amount of coins. But it displays how much dollars or other money you have. And you can use ShapeShift to convert the coin to another one. It is not bad if you don't want to use Exchange to exchange your coins.
Or maybe Mist is the best Ethereum wallt? Is Mist the first developped Ethereum wallet? If it is the original Ethereum wallet, it may be the best as it is the EthereumProject team who is in charge of it.

i use wallet myetherwallet because myetherwallet is very safe and very easy to use. myetherwallet can also be used to store altcoin others.

I use two wallets for ethereum.The first one is the popular myetherwallet.Even though I don't like using wallets hosted on  a web server but this is the only most trusted wallet that supports tokens so I mostly use it for tokens only. The second one is Coinimi this is a  multi  cryptocurrency wallet . this is more safe cause the  keys are stored offline.  

My vote is definitely with myetherwallet. User friendly, quick, and secure. Don't really see a need to use anything else for my Ether.

I do prefer myetherwallet and you can utilize jaxx wallet also to have a multiple coins wallets. You can store the bitcoin as well as other altcoins in this wallet provider.

For more security concerns I suggest to try the desktop wallet only. Therefore you can try to etherwall first ever desktop wallet for Etherum coins. Try to check in below link.

I have ETH on myetherwallet and the rest on exchanges wallet because everytime I have a trade on there. To reduce the fees would be better to store in exchanges wallet but don't store it too much as it's not recommended to store huge money on exchanges wallet.

I think Imtoken is a good choice and I have used it for a long time, you use it to store many kinds of altcoins, and also you can track some market information there.

I love to use myetherwallet. It is one of the easiest wallets ever in all cryptocurrencies. Holding at trusted exchanges is also the thing I sometimes do.

currently I still believe by using hardware purse to keep all the ethereum is myetherwallet wallet, because for me because that's the safest way as far as I know to keep my ethereum so it can relying parties for development I prefer using Lite version which is myetherwallet.com because you can already have a button and an already secure as long the key people are not shown in public or no one ever knew then your funds are safe.

It depends on what you need.

One has to wonder if there is any rogue code in MyEtherWallet, since it is web-based.  The good thing about it, is that it allows you to create an off-line wallet.

Myetherwallet for sure. It is very useful because you can control your private key. A private key is extremely important because if you can not control your private key, that means you are not controlling your eth wallet. Do not use any exchange wallet unless you are a trader. They will not let you control the private key at all

Looks like MEW got most of the votes from the first page so I guess you dont need to doubt it.
It is the most easy and user friendly website than can store ETH. You will just have to enter a password then a private key will be provided that will just have to keep in a very safe place. You could also use a hard copy by writing it in a paper or print it from your computer. That will safer than keeping it just in your computer or your email.  ;D

I chose myetherwallet website because for more secure security there is a privet key feature to open it and we can download for JSON file, if for me this file I use for security number 2 after privet key.
I think myetherwallet is the best ETH wallet and the risk for hacking is very small.

I use myetherwallet.com and this is the best Etheruem wallet because you hold your private keys so the possibility of hacking your wallet is minimal not unless you will give out your private keys to some phishing sites.

MyEtherWallet is the best which supports almost any operating systems as well as browsers with all the tokens. Easy usage and completely secured. A hack is only possible if you give away your private key or json file. I would recommend that, apart from a little traffic its best to use.

I prefer using myetherwallet and used for quite some time. The one thing made consider other alternatives its only because I have tried searching for the app but couldn't find it. So I gave up and considered alternatives such as jaxx and coinomi, they are also good and you are able to hold multiple coin. So I am currently using only these two.

it's true all the people are using myetherwallet, I myself also use myetherwallet, you can store any kind of coin based on ethereum in myetherwallet, myetherwallet security is very high and this is the most storage among other wallets

At first I used coinomi but it doesn't support other erc20 based tokens so I'm now using mytherwallet because you own your private keys. But if you are looking for mobile wallet I'm suggesting imToken.

As most here who replied I also use myetherwallet but I'm very careful of what links I click and double and triple check the url in the browser so it's not a phishing clone. 

MEW is the most convenient way to go, doesn't require you to download the whole ETH blockchain which is useless from my side and wasting too much resource for the sake of storing ETH.
but unfortunately there's many phishing site that trying to steal your data so it's better to make prevention.
conclusion is, MEW is easy to use but not so secure, prefer mist wallet for security

My best choice include 2 ways, there are archive cold wallet ( offline) and hot wallet(online), a little of coins in hot wallet in website ex base coin,polo,bittex.. Rest of all archive hot wallet ( offline), if you know clean, you will research hot and cold wallet by Google

MEW or myetherwallet is the best choice for ETH wallet and at the same time can hold or support tokens.
But be careful, some phishing site that looks like myetherwallet is causing trouble to a lot of MEW users,
double check the URL, before entering your private key or json file.

I use my ether wallet because I think it's security feature is awesome. I usually use it since my brother recommended it when I first joined signature campaign. And, it's the only wallet that I know since I started it. I believe that most people here use the same wallet that I also use.

Myetherwaller. Easy and usefull. Also you can exchange from ETH to BTC. There are many enciphering options and I think It's safe. You must check them, I think you like it!

All above posts on average suggest Myetherwallet and you should know that Mew's weakness is phishing because so many of my friends are exposed to the Mew phishing.

It's just a matter of visiting the right site though.
Pay attention to the url and certificate, and preferably bookmark MEW instead of clicking random links.

I really like MEW used in conjunction with Trezor. Think its one of the safer methods of storing ETH out there

I use myetherwallet as well. Found is easy to use. But have to be very careful about phishing sites around.
It is good for the testing purpose as well: easy to change network and so on. :)
Tried yo use Parity before but found is not so comfortable for daily uses.

I am using myetherwallet because it is very easy to use, send ether and tokens and it is safe.
It's not MEW's weakness, it is weakness of your friends because they don't look on links they click on.
You can't blame myetherwallet for that.

I agree. It is not about MEW problems. It is about their problems. They do not know about how to use ethereum and other cryptocurrencies appropriately. Maybe the best way for them right now is to continue to use bank and fiat. Do not try to use cryptocurrencies at all if they do not have responsibility on their property

Waves is a nice wallet alternative, although it seems still less attractive and foreign, I think MEW should continue to develop the system because phishing never seems to stop attacking it. If the problem persists, I'll keep it in the exchanges wallet. Currently eth-blockchain is still not popular and I think they will continue to develop themselves to attract the attention of users.

After ignoring Ethereum for all these years, I finally created my ETH wallet using myetherwallet two months back. But still I don't have any ETH in my wallet. It is empty. Somehow, I still can't come to terms with the fact that the ETH market cap is close to $30 billion. I missed the boat, and now I don't want to purchase ETH at such high prices.

I only use my ether wallet ever since I started joining signature campaigns here. I think it's features are great and the wallet has a unique security system. It's also user friendly that's why a lot of people here use it. My friends also recommended it before I started here, so since then I trusted my ether wallet.

I think like many here that myetherwallet is really the ideal wallet to store ETH !

Fetching the complete blockchain is a real drag, like downloading complete bitcoin chain :(
Using the C++ implementation "Eth" of course. Or exchange sites occasionally, but merely for limited amounts.
Matter of fact same procedure as applied on every coin. Either original wallet and full node, or exchanger and only small amounts.

I think most ICO's nowadays are directed to myetherwallet. That's why most people here use it. It's not just that their security system is unique, the interface is user friendly too. Many people trust myetherwallet because it's simple and easy to use.

You can use myetherwallet.First download the wallet from help section and extract the files, you will see a few files and folders in the main folder.Click on index.html file, you will be redirected to the HTML webpage of MEW which was stored locally on your computer.Now you can create a password and generate a private key and store it safely.

Best part of MEW is that you can store any altcoin which runs on ethereum platform.This helps at the time of ICO's and bounties.So my choice is Myetherwallet.

MyEtherWallet for altcoins and Nano S for ETH

I've used metamask for a few dAPPs that support it--most notably the ENS registrar dAPP. Also I've recently used it with EtherDelta, which worked smoothly.

I've tried running a full node, and at times have used the foundation's ethereum wallet program, but I find it to be buggy and hard to keep synched.

For most transactions, I use MEW, using offline mode for slightly improved security.

better to use it on a clean computer that not being used a lot

For the bounty hunter wallet is a must-have thing, I have never heard of any other wallet for eth, other than myether.
or you can use a wallet exchanger, but it is not recommended to get a new coin token.
As long as you keep private key or jason file, your wallet is safe. only you should be careful with fishing. Check back your wallet address.

i love using my etherwallet, this wallet can secure your coins, its had a private key so they cant hacked the wallet you have.

I use "Coinomi" Multi currency wallet for Android.
There is this other one also I discovered last week called imToken (Android) . It a pretty cool App which supports ERC20 (Ethereum based tokens) ...
You'd find it useful if you participate in lots of Ethereum based ICOs

I am a newbie but my friend told me that he is using myetherwallet.com. That platform is easy to use he said but there were so many phishing sites regarding that wallet. And logging in to that fake site might lead your tokens to nothing as they will withdraw it.

I am not sure if there is any other ETH wallet. There are wallets out there, several others, where you can also use with your ETH but when you say strictly ETH wallet, I think people will easily refer to myetherwallet.com. This is my wallet of choice as well. All the ETH-based coins can be stored here.

I use MyEtherWallet and unlock it with the private keys stored on my Ledger Nano S.  Best hardware wallet hands down.

I use myetherwallet because its safer there and you hold your own private keys though there are some issues about the phishing site. I did not know blockchain supports ethereum I'll try to use blockchain for my ethereum too.

I am looking for Eth wallet too here who can really trusted and see the replies from some peoples here, hopefully i can find Eth wallet that really trusted and can be on dependable for a long time.

I am currently using Coinomi wallet which supports  different coins in it and Ethereum is one of those coins. Coinomi is an easy to use wallet and it has private keys. But due to the massive existence of Ethereum based tokens I am planning to create MyEtherWallet soon for me to store a lot of tokens from ICO's. I do hope that MEW will soon develop an official app for mobile phones just like Coinomi because I am using mobile all the time since I don't have a laptop or pc. And I've also heared possitive feedback from large numbers of MEW users so I think it's worth a try on it.

I am using myetherwallet for ETH, it support ERC20 token too.  So far I like this wallet the most and this is a popular choice among the bitcointalk members.

I'm in the same boat as a lot of people and am using myether wallet. Though I don't have a lot of eth in it, if I did I would want something I feel more secure in like a local wallet.

I have use myetherwallet to store my ethereum,and I never have a problem with this wallet. myetherwallet could also keepisng some kind of tokens that use ethereum code. And you can set how much the gas you need to doing transfer. But I wonder, Is it safe to store our ethereum in online wallet, meanwhile I'm not yet found a new wallet better than this.

I’m currently using myetherwallet, because it is proven and tested that it is really secure. It is also a good ethereum storage, and many users are patronizing myetherwallet. In my opinion myetherwallet will not easily be hacked because it provides a private key for the user’s security.

MEW is the highly safest place to hold your ethereum but now the latest update is you can used Blockchain account. Because blockchain now accept ether.

For me MEW is more practical and easy to use. Nothing in my mind to switch to using another wallet.

                       As you can see from those recent comments most of us here are using myetherwallet, maybe because it is reliable (indeed!), and it has been used since the beginning of those ICOs, already proven and tested, and some prefer it because it has low transaction fees and faster transactions.

Most of us is using MEW or myetherwallet.com wallet, and its very convenient in my experience. Also there are may  option how you can log in and has  integration for hardware wallet. Beware also there are phishing site copying the MEW site,be vigilant.

MEW is the best for being able to see your ERC20 tokens. I like Parity alright as well, but think I'm going to move everything over to MEW here soon

I am a newbie in using ETH so I am using myetherwallet only. I have never tried any other eth wallet but I guess mew is very user friendly. I am not very sure in its security though because it is online wallet.

No ETH wallet is better than MyEtherWallet. Coins that use smart ETH contracts can all be stored there, all very easy, securing your private key is a priority there

It is not a typical online wallet like Coinbase where you don't own your private keys. But in myetherwallet you actually own your private keys and it can be connected to hardware wallets trezor or ledger Nano s for advanced security.
The main problem is with phishing sites which looks exactly like MEW with a slight change in domain made to steal the user's funds. We must really be careful when logging in to MEW

Is it possible? I also use myether wallet. But I am confuse that really it is safe or not for my coin. I also want to keep my coin safely in my hardware.

My friends suggest me to use MyEtherwallet.com , it is very useful and easy to use . This is I prefer to use as my ETH wallet since my friend also use this when it comes to security of your ETH .
