Title: I/O Coin (IOC) - Heads up! DIONS release
Post by: jonridgeon on September 05, 2017, 08:20:53 PM
Just a heads up post about I/O coin (IOC). In the next days they will be starting a countdown clock to the release of their big update called 'DIONS'. I/O Coin has been around for years, but, they have been working on this update for the past 2 years or more. When the countdown clock is started it will be 2 weeks and then DIONS will be activated. I wont go into all the details of what it actually is, you can research that yourself. Their website: https://www.iocoin.io

It is traded on Bittrex

Anyone else invested and/or excited about this project?

Can't beleive this thread has so little interest... this is big  ??? Im expecting atleast a 5x pump from here. If you look into what they have done, this is one of the best projects out there...

looks intresting, my main concern is the small team. I only count 2 developers.

That's pretty odd if you are seeing the developers that already built the platform was having two members. I think that should be more person behind that. But this month alot of project will try to release the alpha or product. This makes interesting for everyone.

Here is a list of the IO team, it's a bit out of date though. There has been a new developer hired who is not on the list, and also a new designer and web developer too. So, there are quite a few people working on this project...

i've noticed IOC's recent rise with your post in mind and way regretting not to have followed the call sooner. i'm trying to free up some funds and join the climb at the first favorable sign

as to people not taking notice... well, i think many are just too busy shilling bummer coins in which they are invested from the past and don't want to let go with a loss  ;D

thanks for posting, though - i'll keep tabs on this topic and hope for great things from IOC

For those who dont know, IO coin won a Fin-tech award and will be presenting their project to big banks and members of parliment in Brussels on Wednesday 27th

Also, there has just been a research report made on IO coin by Spero, which is pretty nice to say the least, you an see it here:

Good developments...

hmm, just speculation, i have been active on the IOCoin slack and the thought just came to my mind that as far as i know the Devs haven't spoken of technical progress on the project in several days now. I think this is because the whole DIONS update is now complete and the only thing left to do is start the countdown timer and call a block. And im guessing they will do this at the fintech awards on the 27th (only 2 days away). Would be a cool thing. Nobody has denied that this could be the case and many are beleiving this will happen, t makes total sense. Could be a very exciting few days now! Feeling the suspense. This coin is about to take a proper moonshot now i think.

Well... Seems like the pump is over, atlast for now, im very pleased with the profits made. They started the countdown clock but it didn't pump higher on that news and the clock is twice as long as expected. They also didn't get first prize in the fintech awards. The team are good guys though and hard workers, we should watch this space for future developments. All the best to them  :)

honest question, what separates I/O coin from everyone else?  in 2015, this stuff was much more novel.  but now, DIONS seems like it is already being done in ethereum as the ENS.  seems like it would be better to use a larger, more established platform rather than a little-known altcoin.
