What is the goal of this fork? What problems are you trying to solve?

so you hold 1 million Litecoin to have this 1 million Litecoin Cash ready for the ICO ??? :P
or will you increase the max supply to 85 million?

I see no other purpose in this project than making you money.

I think there's probability that the max supply is more than 1M tokens.  ::)
And my impression is - there's nothing behind this project. Just to make fast cash as stated by others.

I would have to agree - sadly it does look like a money-grabbing exercise here - a way to make some quick cash for themselves. The project is lacking some backbone, some true purpose behind it. It is usually an ingredient for this type of thing.

This is to solve the problem for your wallet. the first one to get it is the first one to profit from it.

Just another dumb project we don't need to have this kind of confusing project from newbie dev. This is failed attempt to steal money from people no future plan how they will move forward the development and what is purpose of this fork.

This is too funny. People are just forking coins that are hyped atm. Like bitcoin and litecoin forks are just popping out there in the altcoin discussion forum.

Quoting for the images to be visible.

It seems same intention like what happened in the previous fork in bitcoins.
Why would be the use of an ICO to the fork of litecoins? I don't see that this is usefull unless you'll explain.

I can't seen anything wrong with Litecoin, or anything listed here that would make this better. Besides the fact it has a similar name. I could start a thread tommorrow for ANN called "bitcoin spoonhead" but it doesnt mean its an awesome coin. Would just make me a copycat.

Why is there an ICO if you simply hardfork an existing blockchain for no reason at all?
It is not known if parameters of the coin have been changed plus there is now some "premine" of 1 million coins or more.
Be wary...

An ICO of a forked coin and a giveaway - not sure this makes much sense

Features? Reasons for ICO'ing it?

Really we need this ICO while people will get free coins too than who will waste his money to buy this coin from ICO this point doesn't make any sense. So you are planning to get huge money because of this trap go ahead and do something attractive.

thread is very simple, I'm confused why some dev make threads very simple and require enthusiasts to pull into their website, and the website of the project is also very simple, with less information, do you have a dev promotion program? I think this is not a pretty interesting thing to be one of the promotional programs

Seems fishy. How can you have 1 million coins to sell if it's a fork?
Unless you own a million LTC. Pretty unlikely!

The purpose of this fork is to create the same benefits we got from the BCash fork without the downside:

- Creates free tokens with real value for people
- Increases the value of the original blockchain
- No miner drama, since we're going PoS
- No network disruptions, since we're not trying to steal miners from Litecoin (no need to shut down exchanges for a day, etc)
- ICO creates an opportunity for people to get new tokens cheap.

BCash was like a DoS attack on the exchanges for a day (plus it was the only thing people could talk about for weeks before), we can avoid that next time, there were some upsides. Tokens will be emitted in block at height -1 of the new blockchain.

And that's why ICOs regulations could be indeed needed.  ;D

When will the fork occur?

At which block?

What's the maximum number of coins ever be generated, 85 million?

at least you can make block size 8mb then this will be a hard copy of bitcoin cash.
there is no need to hard fork litecoin.

Fork is scheduled for around mid October, depending on how the integration with the exchanges and wallets go. We're in talks with them but no announcements yet.
The total supply issue is still being decided, it'll definitely won't go past 85 million.
There's no need to increase the block size, litecoin has a faster block time and segwit.

Why would litecoin even talk to you?? What you are saying is all out of proportion to your industry weight as a new copy coin that no one has interest in.
