Title: Do you share your secrets and research findings???
Post by: Poink on September 06, 2017, 04:14:30 PM
Just curious if people openly help and share all their "secrets" that came with long laborious research or hold back some.

I am new but my son and myself spend lots of hours trying to find likely winners...I share a few of them here but honestly, I am not showing all my cards.

Watching many advice here, some (no many) of them seem laughable and ridiculous to me...but maybe I am mistaken.

depends on the secret OPS, if it is about games and round / gambling you better keep that secret, if it is about bitcoin information and knowledge that do you think it will help the bitcoin community as well as your community then share all of it. The knowledge you have about things in this world are meant to shared but set a guide lines or outline the information you want to share. Good luck !

I think for rules and knowledge about bitcoin and altcoin.
everyone is open here.
sharing and learning each other. that's what we are here,
one container to seek knowledge of crypto.
regardless of the secret behind the investigation of trading or investment strategies.
it is an individual right.
but not infrequently we always share the angle of the field want it beginners or seniors.

thankfully we are here with all our shortcomings into knowledge and experience.

It depends indeed. A lot of people are promoting the coins they are holding for obvious reasons (increase in community -> increase in value). If you feel it's really undervalued and would like to accumulate some holdings, it makes sense to keep it quiet for a while. And you shouldn't feel bad about it, after all you've put in the time doing this research.

Of course, I share all the time. Why not? It wont make me poor and might help someone else. I am all for sharing.
It's decentralized and open source technology after all. Let us continue to help one another.

Makes great sense.  Thanks!

Besides, no one seem to listen when you share anyway...or it is lost in all the noise. :p

I share all information with my very close friends. I never had secret info anyways. It is all about market findings, forum/slack research and whitepapers. They also share their opinions with me. And I think its more healthy this way. Communications makes you do patient moves.

Nope mate, just take in care that the founder of coca cola didnt tell anyone about the recipe of it, and right now it is the #1 in the whole world. what could happen if he told everybody about the recipe? maybe coca cola would be just like any other gas soda.
I dont tell anyone about my secret tips for earnings, but it depends to who are you telling it, if it is for your son, brother, or near family then do it.

Secrets are ment to be kept secret because it would not help or because it can destroy. Like gossips about altcoins that are not yet verified and gives anxiaty to the users and would result in taking unessessry decisions. So if it is helpful share it if not keep it.

This is similar to money making methods begin sold in the forum, will you sell a way to make thousands of dollars online for 10 dollars? I suppose the answer to that is no, so if you have developed your own formula that makes you money in trading then do not share it.

Sharing secret and research to close friends and family would be easy for me. I wouldn't hesitate to share something would help others.

"it's was better to give than to receive"

about 100 percent thing, I am afraid I couldn't do that, I could share up to 70 percent of my knowledge and leave 30 percent for myself.

I don't want to spoon feed people, what I wanted was to teach them how to work and earn.

IMO secrets have value just until somebody else know it) Of cource I'm always keeping them. But if I can teach somebody to something and spend a lot of time - I will. I believe that everything we need we have to give first.

The thing is market is really unpredictable. Thus, even after proper research or analysis, we might get wrong. In that case if we give someone advice to trade according to us, they ll do nothing but blame in case of loss. Therefore, I usually keep my cards closed until someone actually ask my advice or I am completely sure of my strategy.

You come here for get info, you never want a advice here, am I right ? I think we make decisions to invest ourselves.

There are secrets which it doesnt need to tell to anyone but this would really depend on yours if you do speak it to someone or not but seeing here on your situation you do make share thing with your son and i guess its better to tell it to him since it is not another people and it doesnt really matter at all because sharing important stuffs will really mold up not only on emotional aspects but it would enhance knowledge on both of you.

People make the mistake, thinking if you keep the secret, you make profit longer or if you share the secret, you lose your profit. Firstly, it is not really a secret if you learn something. Others learned it first. Secondly, if you share, you get more people interested to buy and trade. Guess what, volume increases. Usage increases. You can only benefit.

Most decent ICO's don't get shared here. The reason is because people hope the marketcap doesn't get too high. Thats why some of good icos you dont hear about them until after ico has ended.

With regards to coins you do hear after people have bought as they want them to pump.

If you have people(friends and family) around you that are  poor and  they are like a  burden to you, It  wise  for you to share with them secret that will deliver them from poverty and lift the burden of there dependency  on you. Heard about this site  from a friend, I share the  knowldege I get  here  with other friends to. It cool when we all grow together.Be a person of influence to people aroun you and sure they wont forget  you in their path to greatness.

Honestly I dont. It is hard when people abuses something which is just known from other people then they take all the credits. That hurts.
I dont share with social medias anymore but I share it with my close friends and colleagues. That way I could minimize the spread and somehow I can trust the people I told it to.

When you share secrets people only want to steal them from you and use them for their own. This is why it is important to keep secrets to yourself as long as possible. :P

I share a lot of my info with my friends because it's the right thing to do. If you help other they might help you and together you are much more efficient than alone. ;)
Of course I keep some things secret but that's mostly because I don't want to involve them in projects that I deem "too risky" for the average person.

They are not secrets and there is no reason not to. If we see a coin that is going up and share that information, then that means more people buying and that is nothing but good. On the down slide,. I would not be against telling someone, as we always see these things ahead of time and have likely already gotten out of that coin.

Yes, this is true. If you had researched something that will help you a lot, do not share that idea. What you had researched is the fruit of all of your labor. Do you want someone to easily get that idea without exerting some efforts like you did? Of course you don't want that. Always spare for yourself.

Like every 100$ drop i invest like multiple time . If my budget 500$ i will buy at every interval if it raise between like while 300$ invest i will take profit .

If you do really tend to teach secrets on other people without have much knowledge on what you are talking then for sure he wont really understand at all unless if you do have the same interest then for sure he can cope up with that secret that you do mention. All people do have secrets in life specially on money making some maybe greedy enough wont tell something because they do like for them the ones to make money and dont minding others success.

Time is the most valuable "coin"

That is the issue, I know there are a lot of ads saying that you can make a lot of money easily on the internet and since that is nothing but a scam people begin to think that making money online is not possible but if the person trying to teach them was myself a person they have known all their lives then I would have liked they believed more in me instead of their preconceived ideas.
