Title: [ANN] Crypto Blackjack Post by: Petr1fied on May 25, 2013, 03:02:24 AM OK I've posted about this in a few threads today. I've created a Blackjack game which currently supports 16 coins:
If you don't see your coin listed and you'd like me to add it. I'd be happy to do so for a nominal donation to give the house fund enough to get started. PM me (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=pm;sa=send;u=105351) for further information. Here is the url: http://cryptoblackjack.kicks-ass.net The maximum bets are set at a level to which you're (hopefully) not going to bankrupt the funds held in the house account of each crypto currency. If you want to test it out without risking your own funds the site issues all new visitors with 10 GameCoin (GME) (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=208747.0) which you can play with or just withdraw. It's up to you. PLEASE NOTE: The site is currently beta and session based so please keep your browser open until you've fully cashed out any funds. Title: Re: [ANN] Crypto Blackjack Post by: BitJohn on May 25, 2013, 03:03:33 AM No WDC or DGC? Best way to move money super fast seems like would be good for business.
Title: Re: [ANN] Crypto Blackjack Post by: Petr1fied on May 25, 2013, 03:07:04 AM It comes down to what cryptocurrencies I have. Adding other coins is easy enough. If people want to donate a small amount in any alternate currency to give the house a starting balance to be able to pay out then please feel free to contact me. Unless I have some of the currency I can't accept a bet on it.
Title: Re: [ANN] Crypto Blackjack Post by: BitJohn on May 25, 2013, 03:07:47 AM setup a DGC and WDC wallet and past addresses we will get you your coin

Title: Re: [ANN] Crypto Blackjack Post by: Petr1fied on May 25, 2013, 03:09:44 AM I did. ;)
Title: Re: [ANN] Crypto Blackjack Post by: iamrickrock on May 25, 2013, 03:15:53 AM Can you add BBQcoin as well? If you set it up I can send you a couple hundred BBQcoins to start with. Just let me know when it's set and I'll send the BBQ to you :)

Title: Re: [ANN] Crypto Blackjack Post by: karsy on May 25, 2013, 03:43:46 AM Would really like to see DGC support here.
Title: Re: [ANN] Crypto Blackjack Post by: ruecanonrails on May 25, 2013, 04:03:03 AM Why not keep primary focus on GameCoin, the name really fits and it can use the attention ;)
I'd still like to see accounts made wallets attributed to them to reduce the chance of loosing coins. I ended up running into an error last night while playing, I had 21 with an ace and queen. The dealer has a queen showing. The site would crash every time I tried to play on and redirect back to the start page where it would tell me I have a game in progress. After all that ended up loosing several hundred gamecoins when the wallet or my cookies were deleted expired. Not looking to get those coins back (consider small donation), just letting you know my reasons behind wanting an account I can keep coins attached to. Title: Re: [ANN] Crypto Blackjack Post by: psych0tikx on May 25, 2013, 04:28:47 AM I would love to check it out.
But what about YAC can you accept YAC i have a bit of YAC that I am willing to play with. thanks for the coins - GMPFvkxWjNFdjShFK2Fm2hgDkqK3WDvqBa I think i was supposed to post this address - GPZPecEBU4Ap9fW4ErQgD4n5fNtVdnt8vN Title: Re: [ANN] Crypto Blackjack Post by: Petr1fied on May 25, 2013, 04:34:49 AM Why not keep primary focus on GameCoin, the name really fits and it can use the attention ;) I'd still like to see accounts made wallets attributed to them to reduce the chance of loosing coins. If you give me your current gamecoin deposit address I'll move it for you including the prize you missed out on. I will get around to adding a registration option so that you don't lose anything if you close your browser, currently the requests to add other cryptos are coming in thick and fast so I'm trying to accommodate everyone's requests. Title: Re: [ANN] Crypto Blackjack Post by: YaCoinYeah on May 25, 2013, 05:30:29 AM Does it have an actual flash or some type of video to watch the cards flip, knock, bust, etc?
That's what I'll pay for. Title: Re: [ANN] Crypto Blackjack Post by: Petr1fied on May 25, 2013, 05:53:18 AM No, for the most part it's php with a bit of AJAX thrown in to keep the state of funds etc. updated in more or less real time. When the dealer calls, it all happens at once which kinda looks weird if the dealer ends up taking taking multiple cards. It's not perfect but it works. ;)
Provisionally added WDC, DGC & BQC but there are no funds in the respective accounts. If you'd like to donate to allow users to play on those coins the donation address is displayed on those pages. (Some of them may still be downloading the blockchain so it may be a little slow) Title: Re: [ANN] Crypto Blackjack Post by: YaCoinYeah on May 25, 2013, 05:57:59 AM I'll donate PXC if you make the site more professional.
Adding flash/video/animation of card deals, and HTTPS Title: Re: [ANN] Crypto Blackjack Post by: Petr1fied on May 25, 2013, 06:05:41 AM Flash isn't going to happen, I don't know ActionScript nor do I have the inclination to learn it so that I can rewrite my programming in a different language. It is what it is, a basic blackjack game. Sure I can make some cosmetic changes to the site but it is a beta site and should be viewed as such.
It's currently running on my local computer, I'll most likely move it to my dedicated server after I can verify the functionality. If I add https it would be at that point. You don't need a wallet if you don't intend to withdraw it. When you browse the GameCoin page (http://cryptoblackjack.kicks-ass.net/index.php?coin_type=1) it gives you a unique deposit address. 9.9 GME (0/1 confirmations) Been like that for a while now why? Title: Re: [ANN] Crypto Blackjack Post by: Petr1fied on May 25, 2013, 06:08:48 PM Donated 500 BBQ to the project :) Thanks for the kind donation. ;D Thanks to iamrickrock's kind donation, BBQ betting is now open for business. In response to requests I've also added several more coins so the site now supports:
Most of these don't have any house balance as yet so please consider donating a few coins to get the ball up and rolling for your chosen currency. Once there are at least 50 coins it will allow deposits but that is the bare minimum, if it falls below that deposits will close again. i sent 9.9 to the address GR9E8hcmPPiJBQ9WJymXJEM8rviPgqKvxH and says it is incoming 9.9 GME (0/1 confirmations) Been like that for a while now why? GameCoin doesn't currently have many miners so confirmations are slow. That's why the site is configured to only require one confirmation on GameCoin. The transaction is now showing with 13 confirmations: Code: { And the account has a zero balance so I guess you must have got the confirmation in the end: Code: D:\daemons>gamecoind getbalance g_1369463845 Title: Re: [ANN] Crypto Blackjack Post by: ChekaZ on May 25, 2013, 06:15:42 PM GKto8kT6WfvZr7gMVCaZe83zFUJ4Y5XoSm

Title: Re: [ANN] Crypto Blackjack Post by: Petr1fied on May 25, 2013, 09:35:30 PM i lost 10 hands in a row an then pushed, quit after that , this game is rigged People always claim things are rigged when they lose. The order in which the cards are drawn is completely random. The house has a slight edge in that you go first so there's always the possibility that you'll go bust before the dealer even needs to draw a card. Title: Re: [ANN] Crypto Blackjack Post by: teamnigel on May 25, 2013, 09:38:55 PM Is there a way to bet more than one at a time? 1 LKY is worthless, so I'm wasting my time unless I can play with more.
Title: Re: [ANN] Crypto Blackjack Post by: iamrickrock on May 25, 2013, 09:50:33 PM Yeah I deposited 20 DBL lost 10 and the site went down for a bit last night. When I went back to the site my balance was zero. I should have 10.
Title: Re: [ANN] Crypto Blackjack Post by: Petr1fied on May 25, 2013, 09:53:35 PM Uhm, how does the site know whose address is who? If I close my browser, how do I get back to my game? PLEASE NOTE: The site is currently beta and session based so please keep your browser open until you've fully cashed out any funds. Adding a registration option is on the todo list. If you've closed your browser then you'll need to tell me:
With this information I can transfer any funds that are sat in that particular wallet to your current deposit wallet. Title: Re: [ANN] Crypto Blackjack Post by: teamnigel on May 25, 2013, 09:57:11 PM Yeah sorry, I realised that big red line of text was there after I asked the question.
Could you possibly raise the betting limits for some of the coins though? Thanks, now I can do something fun with my worthless coins like LKY and PWC. Title: Re: [ANN] Crypto Blackjack Post by: Petr1fied on May 25, 2013, 10:07:15 PM Yeah sorry, I realised that big red line of text was there after I asked the question. Could you possibly raise the betting limits for some of the coins though? Thanks, now I can do something fun with my worthless coins like LKY and PWC. I will look at raising the limits on them based upon the size of the bank for each coin. The coin with the highest bet limits is currently GME as I have a huge amount of this due to mining it for 2 weeks straight when many others have abandoned it. I've also got incoming funds on PWC from some generous donations so I'll be able to set the bet limits for that higher than some of the other currencies. And it seems some people are losing 10 in a row. Be cautious... There's nothing dodgy about my code I can assure you. The house does have an advantage because you go first and if you go bust the house wins without ever having to hit. It's as simple as that. This is no different than playing in a casino. Hell you could stick on whatever 2 cards you get to start with and there is probably a reasonable chance the dealer will bust because they'll just keep going until they have at least 17. The dealer doesn't have the luxury of being able to stand at a lower value, you do. It all comes down to the luck of the draw. If you play long enough the house will invariably win in the end, this too is no different than a casino and that is why they do everything they can to keep you there for as long as possible. Hell I'll even share my card generation function with you. Feel free to test it for yourself and you'll see it generates a random result: Code: <?php Title: Re: [ANN] Crypto Blackjack Post by: Lebrick on May 28, 2013, 06:13:16 AM Just letting you know OP that the site isnt letting me cash out my worthless BQC ^.^, HTTP Error 500 (Internal Server Error): An unexpected condition was encountered while the server was attempting to fulfill the request Doesn't display a BQC withdraw fee either. As with the other donations, none have been touched and if and when the BTB balance increases I'll just add higher betting options as appropriate. I kinda figured that donation didn't come from TruCoin as he does nothing but talk despite taking donations from people to get BTB implemented in some fashion. Any chance of recovering gamecoins from that address? btw. how do you check for lost cookies, and how fast you harvest balance back from unused ones? -ylo (new depo addr: GQDv2hfTJ4rL3CjRohRqNekbhQeqoZYGgd) Title: Re: [ANN] Crypto Blackjack Post by: Petr1fied on May 30, 2013, 07:53:31 AM I'll give it a go, though I'm a recovering blackjack-addict Gb39HWT2G8JtjvkJfsAkk3Z9Mpgsk2KVDj I also lost my balance as I didn't have this laptop available yesterday. Any funds left unclaimed in accounts get moved to the house account after the account is at least 7 days old. The initial 50 GME offer is now closed. instead I've created an automatic faucet that issues all visitors with 10 GME to play with automatically. Play at coincasino.cc - where you can double/split your hands! (better player odds) ;) Title: Re: [ANN] Crypto Blackjack Post by: Petr1fied on June 21, 2013, 09:57:01 AM investigating

It's now up to date and the 4 PXC transaction has appeared. Awaiting response via PM to see how matt4444 wants to proceed.
