Title: MtGox OkPay USD Withdraws
Post by: joesmoe2012 on May 25, 2013, 04:07:24 AM
Just some good news for those who know what i'm talking about.

OkPay from already setup linked account from mtgox just took less than 30 minutes to go through (withrdraw in USD from mtgox to okpay).

Was 6 figures as well.

This is new. It use to take at a minimum a day or two. I think they may have automated it.

On a bad note, my withdraw before this one to okpay did NOT go through (5 figures) and showed up as an error in mtgox history.

So of a few dozen withdraws in the past month, most took 2-3 days to complete, 1 didn't go through, and the most recent one took less than a half hour.

Good luck everybody :)

allright, so what do you think. Will I be able to withdraw my USD from MtGox via OKPAY ever again?

Here's what it say on okpay website linked in the previous post:

Any financial transactions involving exchangers and stock exchanges trading bitcoin are now prohibited. We rely on receiving payments in bitcoin in favor of verified OKPAY merchants leading a legitimate business which passed appropriate legality and AML checks.

So I guess the answer to that is...NO.  >:(
