Hello,

where to invest right now for very short term (days, few weeks max)?

I have some long term investments but I have to withdraw some money soon. So I want try to maximize the value of that part of my "cryptfolio".

For example Komodo promises big news on friday but the price is already pumped. I am not sure.

Any tips?

It will be a difficult thing, because it depends on the trend by the market. as far as i know that will be related how works already done by the developers, I think that the komodo gets pumped caused by the huge news and it will not be recurring again for the second choice. Keep stay with your long investment.

Right now your best short term investment is NEO(im sure there is a good argument for longterm as well)

Its price has cleaved in half recently in the wake of news about china implementing an ico ban.
This news has recently been cleared up. China is requiring a license for ico but not banning them entirely.
With that news you can expect NEO to shoot up in the sort term for sure. Might reach its previous all time high.

I would say monaco has a potential to atleast double in price within a couple of dats/weeks. All it takes will be one good announcement.

If the news are legit that china is loosening it's ban on ICOs already or at least is confirming that they will in the near future I guess NEO is your best options. It lost so much cap that it can easily double its value in a week.

Kin coin from Kik messenger could be great short term investment. I am sure its gonna be pumped right after selling is over.

Kik ICO's token kin will probably double or sth like that soon. I think it worths to invest in there at the moment. I also expect musicoin to go up high in the near future . It would be wise to not miss these two opportunities.

NEO is potentially good for a short term investments, because there is some hype regarding the Chinese ban on ICOs being only temporary. But it might be merely speculation...regardless, it will probably drive the price up for a short term.

I'll agree with NEO since its price is always on a dip nowadays but who knows the price might still pump tomorrow. Hopefully.

Maybe you should take a look at NXT and ARDR. Expercting some more action while der Ardor snapshop in october. NXT holder getting free Ignis at the snapshot and Ardor is going to announce a lot of stuff. I bought more of both before 2 days, I think this gains will be very nice

Get QTUM. Check out the chart, took a nice heavy plunge so invest while its $10, sell at $20 (which im almost positive it will hit again).

Cause of plunge, china temporarily banning ICO's. I sold everything and went keep in QTUM.

as of today, since ICOs is in hot water because of China is banning it temporarily as they still filtering out some suspicious ICOs. Stay away from short term investment as of this moment because of FUDding due to China's ICOs regulation, trading activity is not lively in this month. Next month is the best way to trade.

I'm looking very closely the price of SIA. The price is currently very low and a big update is coming enf of september. It can be a good bet for few weeks.

Most of the good suggestions have already been made but you may have missed the bandwagon a little bit on the cutprice Neo due to the China news. As mentioned above Kin is expected to perform very well once released on the exchange, I would not be surprised to see the price at least double. I would avoid Linda, that post seems a little bit suspect to me given how hard he/she is pushing the coin.

We started with a price of 8 cents, after that the price rised to 5 USD, it decreased until 89 cents and now we are close to 2 USD again.

You can trade it and get some profit.

When this mne will be burned, supply will drop dramatically, and with the new found interest from the market (as a result of their great roadmap and upcoming marketing) the demand will go up, pushing the price up to 20 - 30$, giving you a 500 - 600% profit. Take a look at 0xproject, it is a very good project who is making a lot of efforts to pump the price.
It droped to $0.20 last week but now it is at $0.32 each coin, it is going up so quickly, i have more than two thousand of this coin and i am looking for selling them at $1 each one.
But in short term it can do a 2x in one month, i think.

Siacoin is a well-invested and traded coin. It is relatively older than most of the coins topping the charts but SC remains solid. Announcements regarding project development is always a welcome news to traders. I hope this update will be a huge one that will push SC upward.

You know the cinese people can still purchase NEO right? The reason it dropped is because there was a lot of FUD, nothing more, there's nothing wrong with the company, nothing has changed, the only thing that happened is people panicked

It is just some panic because of the China decision that made the whole market crash, not just neo. After the situation is clear you can see neo price climb back up to before the crash so there's nothing wrong with neo. People still can buy them as usual.

There is no way on earth very short term investment. The only thing to grab money fast is gbling and scam..so dont ever have a dream for very short term investment. There are only medium - long term investment and it will give you good profit and small risk..

Yes, investing in the short term with trading, it's the same. Although the same, but the way is different. Usually stocks are sold immediately, not long and in a matter of months only, to earn short-term profits. So the principle is BUY AND SELL. the strategy is to buy shares of companies whose prices tend to rise in the near future.

Very short term is not so easy because you need to know that a coin will go up. Everyone knows 'buy the rumour, sell the news'... but to make a profit you need to buy in at the early stages of the rumour. It is not so easy unless you know a lot about that specific coin, and I don't think it is something you can do for just any coin. Noone can have that detailed level of knowledge of hundreds of coins.

There are no short cuts to investing. Stick to your current model. Some folks may promise you crazy profits within a short period, but they are ponzi schemes and scams and will only steal your money.

I would suggest to invest in investFEED for short term. It will deffinetly pump in a week or two.

Investing in a short term basis is hard to decide on what coin to invest your money. You have to do some research the trend of the coin in the market and its value. Also the volume of a certain coin which profitable is a plus in choosing a short term investment.

Short term investments actually fail to produce some good profits so it is better to go for the long term but still if you ask me, I think it should be bitcoins and if someone CANNOT go for it then, it is better to invest in ETH rather than any other altcoin. I believe in its potential.

The best coin to do short term right now would be bitcoin, if you have the capital better buy it now that the price is low. And sell them when it skyrockets back again if you want short term trading and profits. That's the most safest coin I can advise you.

Sonm, it's been long overdue for a nice pump, just look at the graph. The devs are active and the coin will be listed on binance before the end of the month, you can get x5 profits within 2 weeks if you buy now

You need to follow the markets very very closely, read all the news and also have some luck.
Now I am just thinking long term

Very short term trading works great in my case. But there are few rules
1. dont be greedy
2. have a reasonable target (for example 10% in week)
3. be very active
4. it is better to have solid 1% than 10% at high risk

Using those rules - every coin can work, just read a lot of news and monitor things and stuff. Also do not leave money in altcoins for a night.

Exactly, personally I trade with NEO (among others) on Bittrex, and by playing it quite safe I still gain about 20 NEO a month. That's about 0.6 NEO a day, which is highly achievable. I believe NEO could reach 300$ within one year, so I'm not doing too bad I think. I could be making 1 or 2 NEO a day, but this way I hardly take any risk because I don't shoot for the stars. I have about 15 NEO on Bittrex, which means I make 0.6 NEO if I get 4% gains.

It always happening on Yobit, pumped when it's still new and will be dump when the trader or team has reached a target with sell the coin to dump the price. Although, like you have said earlier you also have to think it's on Yobit probably it was a pump bot to bait the traders so watch out for that.

Short term investment I think is good in new coin coins, :)
