Any specific features of the coin?

Being the lead and not knowing how to compile wallets is a really, really bad sign.

I want to busy my CPU and waiting for more details.

These will be announced once the design is done :) Just posted a PRE-ANN on a good time, so people know that such a coin will be launched and they have time to prepare.


How so? Not everyone uses MAC or Windows systems and can test the coins on them. Windows wallets should be possible to compile easily on UNIX systems as well, however i will take look into this. Still will have to include the OSX bounty.

The reason why i picked cryptonote, is because it is secure, as well as easy to mine with CPU/GPU, and i don't no one be left out for not having good hardware :)


What do you guys say, should we arrange some kind of airdrop for the launch, and if yes, what kind of portion of the total supply should be airdropped?

You must decide it alone, so if the premine is less than 2%, than start airdrop can be 0.1% or something like this, depends on total coin supply. And what kind of airdrop it is?

Well i am going to decide it alone, just asking for your opinion. However it will be an regular airdrop for members that have been longer time on the forums.
There will be no any kind of signature campaigns attached, or anything sketchy like that. I have seen multiple "airdrops" nowadays, that are actually signature campaigns.
I was thinking about 5 billion total supply, but this might change during the time. However this will be an fair launch and airdrop, and i want to make sure that everyone gets their part of the airdrop before it is closed :)

Good idea, just work on details. :) Maybe I have hurried with alone decision, many peoples = many opinions, you may reduce it all to a common denominator in the end.

i think you may choose scypt replace CryptoNight for saunacoin , i saw so many coin build by CryptoNight, no coin on  market

Nope, just a simple coin with no connections to sauna industry :)


Scrypt is nice, but then a regular CPU/GPU miner won't stand a chance. Cryptonight coins are managable to mine even for the regular people, which is why i like them.
I am doing some progress with the GUI wallet currently, and im about to hire a designer to design the logos as well.
A discord or slack will be available as well :)

The premine will be only 1% with 0.5% airdropped, so no 9% premine :) I haven't seen a launch of a cryptonight coin in a while, which is why i decided to launch one. Cryptonight is fair to everyone, which is why i picked it. Glad to have you to join in as well!

I will follow this project to see that this leaves.

Hi, when will the airdrop start? The amount of 5 billion scares, but it will take a few years for that amount to be in circulation! It's topic was created on September 7, but apparently people were not excited.  :D

I was actually thinking of just removing the airdrop part, and making this launch non-profit, and i will only mine few blocks to test the network. Also the plans have changed a little bit, so all of the coins will be mined in around 3 years, and total amount of avaible coins will be changed to 100 million.

No airdrops, no bounty? Sadly

Im still trying to figure this out, nothing has been 100% yet decided.
What kind of bounties were you thinking about?
Usually airdrops just lead into people dumping the coins at the moment that they get into exchange, so i think that no airdrop would be better for the coin.

I hope all informations will be final for the launch.
It will be a POS coin ? You plane to add masternode ?

How so? I want a fair launch, and give people time to prepare. It's still a WiP anyway, so what would rushing the release help exactly with?


No, this will be an CryptoNight PoW, but you can mine it with any computer since the algo is fair to everyone! :)
I don't think anyone has yet succesfully made a CryptoNight coin with masternodes, or PoS.

Sorry guys, this project will be delayed for im not sure how long because i want to make that everything is working and fine.
This thread will be reopened around 14 day sbefore release, and everything will be fully functional and working at that time.
