To each his own...but for what its worth, these videos are kinda lame mate. I suppose in the spirit of free creation that DVC is trying to promote I should accept them at face value. Unfortunately I don't think they really relate to DVC in a positive light, just my opinion though.

Devcoin didn't make this happen.
She made the first video randomly 3 weeks ago, then I sent her a message and we started talking about Devcoin (like the church of development and stuff) and now she made another one.

And why was it ok when the title of the thread (a thread someone else made) was "Devcoin $10+ Boobs" (people literally posted saying they were buying coins because of it). But I made one called "Devcoin girl" with 1 extra video and suddenly it's a problem.

I didn't see a "boobs" video, or I'd have said the same thing then. Really if it was already posted, why'd you make another thread for it?

Perhaps you smoke too much of that medical pot over there in CO. I'm not talking any *shit*, this video is *shit* though. I can say whatever I want, if it makes you mad, ignore me. Happens that I fully support DVC and its notion, in fact, I got in to it because YOU posted about Devtome and I was very intrigued. My "personal" relation is based on that--I'd like to see the coin succeed and make some $ for my efforts at the same time.

These videos have shown over 1,000 people what Devcoin is in a week. I'm guessing by the end of next week it'll be 2-3,000 then in a month it'll be like 10,000.

Weather or not you believe the video was of good quality (or even if it really is bad quality) has no effect on what it does for the cause.

Which weather you accept it or not, is help. It helps the cause.

Maybe the videos are shitty.

But that's just all the more reason to support devcoin.

Dude, are you fucking kidding me? I own DVC but now I feel half-retarded after watching those videos.

The girls videos are TERRIBLE. "Do you support charity? Are you a good person? Do you have a nose or eyeballs? Then Devcoin is the coin for you!" says some random terribly ugly bitch trying to look seductive. Jesus, this just completely insults my fucking intelligence and everyone who supports the DVC project.

I'm pro DVC all the way. The problem is these videos are not informative. How do they support charity? Video doesn't say.

The production quality is poor and the individuals in both sets of videos do not give off a vibe of "intelligence". Maybe you and the girl are very intelligent individuals, but still, based on these videos, nobody is seeing that side.  ::)

I understand that her videos were not super informative, but they were the first Devcoin videos EVER made. They will get better, she is making videos about the bounties next, which are the projects that DVC supports. And I made plenty of informative videos and more are on the way.

I know the production quality is poor, but so am I and I am assuming so is she. Supporting devcoin will help us not be poor and afford better equipment. I literally live on less that $500 a month including rent, and that won't change until I get paid my DVC in June from writing on Devtome.

the problem with devcoin is that open source doesn't usually make a great deal of money, since I can see the source and do me own whatever.  To get paid good money for something that won't generally make more money is very difficult.

That's fine, when a coin gets dumped, that means someone is buying them. That just allows newer investors to make large investments before the dumping ends and the market goes back up :)

That's why a portion of the coins that are mined goes straight to Devtome users (writers, artists, musicians, etc) to be used in projects of their choosing. :)
