What do you think you can contribute to your City?  DO you think in some way you can help also? By what you have and what you can?

What I can do is to serve Jesus Christ by spreading His words and take good care of his creations as well it includes me myself. What can I do is to give small amount of money to those who are in need the most but first my family of they need money I will share mine if I have.

After the revolution the hole country As suffering from pollution. So my contribution in first place will be cleaning the city.

You sure will clean the city? it will not be enough even if you spend your whole life cleaning it because every day garbage will increase.

what you mean contribute in our city, to volunteer in the non government organisation or help people incase of dissaster that your point or what, but sorry to tell you mate as far as i know being a citizen of this country my contribution is to pay my taxes properly to help the government for the revenue collection.

Due to unemployment and a big city budget a regular cleaning group for parks and streets would be clever and of mutual benefit but due to my unwillingness of going into debt to start such a thing I'll keep my head in crypto for now.

I'm not into volunteer wirk but am definitely doing my part by being a good citizen. I don't dump my trash down the creek like some people here do, for a start.

Since I am quite busy with my full time job and personal / family commitments, normally I opt out of volunteering. But at the same time, I contribute in whatever way I can to the city. I pay my municipal taxes regularly. Till now I have never made a later payment. Also, I renew the licenses and permits on time, without any delay.

In fact, you're lying. This is a typical example of how people of bribes from officials. You have in Russia and almost all countries of the former USSR all the way live. Officials have stolen paid your taxes and you don't control them. You still live in your city. Most important for you to not be bothered. For this reason, you have always lived and will live.

I contribute in maintaining the cleanliness of my city. Why can I say I contribute in maintaining the cleanliness of my city? Because at least I did not throw garbage carelessly. I always throw my garbage into the trash. And if I'm diligent, sometimes I take out the scattered rubbish and throw it in the trash, but I do not do that much anymore. Besides, I think I have not contributed to anything else.

I think I can't contribute to my province materially but what I can contribute is something that everyone can easily do, keep working and keep my profit stable. I don't want to add myself to a lot of unemployed people here because that will be having an effect to the economy of my province and my country.

I will help the police combat crime in my city by providing information when needed.

After the taxes that i pay, i really don't think that there is a lot more for me to do in contribution to my city, I will just be an upright citizens and not a menace to the society. That's what i can do.

I can contribute to my city in terms of education. since I am a teacher, I have responsible to educate young generations. moreover, young generations have main role to save character building of their country, either in moral or national character.

As a future educator I may contribute to my city in various ways. Since I am a student right now, gaining a high grades in all subjects I may give back something and also by molding myself as a educator especially my personality or attitude. A year from now, I will do everything to become an effective teacher who will not focus only on metal and physical capacity of his students rather giving more attention on developing students characters- a mind without character is useles.

I can contribute to my city by doing volunteer works like assisting in our city clean and green movement and also to avoid littering which will dirty the city that im living in. That action even if its small from an individual person still contributes greatly to the improvement of a city.

Unlike Indian values do not hesitate to earn more, and unlike Indian habits dont be moderate about spending your money. Save money judiciously for a rainy day, but spend your surplus on consumer goods and services.

Socially

Unlike Indian mentality do not compromise with adversities. Put your foot down if you see dishonesty, intolerance.and injustice.

I guess you have understood the futility of caste systems please ensure you do not discuss caste with any one in your family and dissuade others from discussing it. Let it be known to others that you do not tolerate the subject to be discussed in your presence.

Fight against Inequality

Do not provide charity to beggars. Ask them to work in your home if possible and pay them in cash. Tell others the same.

Fight against Intolerance

Tell people that you do not expect them to love everyone and hug every one but can they stop nursing hate in their minds. You need not preach them about intolerance but make it clear that you do not like it and let people feel uncomfortable to express any kind of intolerance in your presence.

Illiteracy and Lack of Education

Encourage people who make an effort to overcome their drawbacks. Appreciate and reward people who take initiatives.

Corruption and Dishonesty

If you see honesty do not hesitate to appreciate and thank the people concerned. If you know honest methods promote it. Many resort to dishonest methods because the corrupt promote dishonesty. If you do not promote honesty you are the loser.

If I have the money, I'll build up a foundation for street children, children that are abandoned by parents, children that having a worst past. Because I many children here in our country suffer from being homeless and having no family. Their just living in the streets, don't know if they can eat three times a day or if they'll have at least one meal. What they do is  they steal from other people, because they have no choice, if they don't do it, they having nothing for that day. They can't work because they are too young for jobs. Other kids have work but it is not enough to buy them what they need because the job they have is too light and low salary. So I want to help them, educate them, give them food and shelter., clothes and a family. 

For me so far I have not contributed to my city but now I'm just going to be a good citizen in my city.

At least we can put all the garbage to the waste bins. And the city will benefit)

 For me as a student that studying Customs Administration I can contribute in many simple ways. For example like proper disposing of waste and because of that it can help my city to be clean. Or following our laws or rules and guidelines in my city. By following or doing simple things like that can be a big contribution to our city.

  But when I graduate and take my license and be an official Custom Broker, I can contribute to my city is that I will not allow contraband items nor drugs to go in our City. I'll not take under the table transaction so that those contrabands will go in. Etecetera.

 All I'm trying to say is that being a good citizen can be a big contribution to our city.

Anyone can contribute to his city. For example, plant trees or become an investor in a new theater or museum. build a playground

All I would like to do for my city is to unite people of my town. It is a big problem for my town. As everyone is using our town to build their cities. Politicians are using their positions and their possibilities to create money for them and they take all of it. That is sad thing. Our young people leaves the town and go somewhere else to live. In last 20 years our population is just going down. And we are also a main thing why our state actually stays and keep going as we are industrial center of our country.

Contribute to a city or to the world is not always about money and not always has to be rich. We can start contributing from small things like, contributing in the church, give the poor, give them food, make people smile and happy, plant a tree, clean the trash, and much more. But we should make some money, of course. We should keep our job and pursue our success, so that we can take a big part to change the city or even the world.

Just something smple i think it can be done and should be done and its really simple, there should covered gutters and pressure sucking systems that will suuck choked gutters into the sea. Yes the sea thankfully we have the sea and year in year out we are faced with flooding problems. Quiet pathetic if you ask me but i solve this in three months when i am given the opportunity

I think every citizen in their government is helping each other in the country they live in, such as providing taxes. almost all of the things in this country we have a tax that is paid by us, were it is a huge contribution to our share.

I believe my contribution to my city is that i do, act and reflect what i want my city to change into. Even if my neighbors resent it or even hate it. Specifically how I drive on the road. My co-drivers don't know that they're actually breaking the law by stopping on top of the crosswalk and such

One way to contribute is to participate in our city affairs. Many people are either expecting the government to deliver what they are supposed to or just give up. We can contribute by doing small things, such as read the city annual budget, coming out to vote, show up the public hearings, etc.

As an individual without power and wealth,  the only thing I can contribute to my city was my prayers and participation in all community activities that will help promote enhancement in my society for the good of the people and community.

I can contribute largely in my society through sharing some change in charities, and helping out poor people in the streets by giving them food. By doing this little deeds I can help a child with his education and help starving families. Through these little things the City I live in slowly develops its society into a much better community where I can be a really good role model for the people around me.

Everyone can make their city better, organize groups for garbage collection, you can also plant trees, you can collect signatures to close bad bars, ask for money in the City Council and paint the benches in the park yourself and there is much more you can do.

We can contribute in varies ways. If u are well.educated and doing a good job, try to  do job within ur city. Even less educated people can serve tocity aswell. As individual citizen what can I contribute to my city is to help support our Government for for it project pertaining to the welfare of our community. I contribute by helping some local associations. It's not much but if everybody was involved in an association ( for animals, migrants, homeless  etc), it can have an impact

Very simple. In my little ways, I can start with not littering anywhere. By this, floods can be reduced and we can keep our surroundings clean. This is a big help to our city and for mother earth. :)

Helping other people is the best thing I can contribute to our city. Even in a little way I want to help other people specially the poor and street children..if given a chance to become rich or even a chance to hold a big amount I will donate that money to an institution that helps the poor..

I am teacher and I always teach my students to always throw the rubbish in the trash can, and I start to teach them on how to separate the rubbish so it is easier to recycle it, and I always teach them kindness and the advantage of kindness, teach the new generations a good moral is the best thing you can do for your city and for the better future

Cities are pretty amazing, there are so many brilliant, hard working people! But so often you never meet them, or even know about them. I think one of the revolutions on the blockchain will be to create tools which more easily enable collaboration by citizens in cities to do good things. On the theme of charity/volunteering that lots of people have mentioned. We could create a system where people post charitable fundraisers or tasks other people can help contribute to, and by attending and helping you can earn a token. We could then make deals with local shops to give discounts or have certain items you can spend them on. This way you can incentivise citizens to do good in their community and then they can help local businesses by spending their money in those locations rather than big mega markets.

oh, I think it's easy...in some cities, it's enough to share with you and not to leave garbage after yourself and the city will become unrecognizable...but in general it's good to participate in different volunteer programs for cleaning, planting, etc.

At tax time, simply donate an extra amount of cash to your city, equal to the amount of property taxes you already pay.

If you rent, your landlord will not be doing this. But the city will tell you how much your apartment comples pays, so you can get an idea of how much extra you should donate.

Small acts of kindness, make a big impact. One small act is by disposing your small piece of candy wrapper, plastic cups, etc. to trash bins and do not throw it somewhere the streets. If the streets are clean, no need to hire for street sweeper. Cost saving and clean city.

I think what i can contribute is to help them improved the bealty and the cleanliness of the city.... Help them to maintain proper waste and garbage throwing... And in case of desaster i can help theme thru medical assistance... And most of all is to build a bible study once a week...

Our city is like our home we must contribute whether we are students or we are professionals, contribution does not mean to offer something to a larger whole but it means to offer something at our own level. Being a student your contribution is throwing trash in cans, telling truth, being honest and respectful to others.

I'll rather give the citizens free condoms (lol). I currently lived in a city where hiv growth has been proven to be the fastest among cities in our country based on the information given by the seminar I attended last month. I would like to spread hiv awareness to the teenager and the citizens so that they should know how to act properly and avoid becoming a victim.

i'll  use eco bag when I go to supermarket so they don't need to use plastic grocery bags and I'm gonna  pay my taxes properly and i will not litter on the street. these are the things that i can do to contribute in my city

I think I can contribute in my city by doing a right things or be a disipline individual in a way of following rules and regulation of my country, a simple as following traffic rules, helping cleaning of my surroundings, helping the people in need, volunterism, paying income taxes. Yes i think i can contribute to my city. There are so many ways to me to contribute to my city.
First, i must be a good citizen. Being a good citizen can help our city to be better. I should obey the rule in my city, don't kill people, don't steal or rob anything from another people, don't harm another, etc.
Second, as a entrepreneur i can help reduce jobless in my city. I give some people work in my office and hire them, so it's help my city reduce poverty.
Last, i can teach and socialization my employee and my community about contracts that i have accepted from my college, so they can know about how to make contracts, what clause advantages and disadvantages for them, etc.

All of us who lives in some city we make a part of them. And everyone contribute to thet city on some way. Specially with our behavior, that is the mirror of city. I can contribute something to my city by being a law abiding citizen. The city has its local law in order to govern and ensure the good rule of its area. I will abide and support whatever is the local law implemented in my city. In our city, there is a law that doesn't allow the throwing of garbage anywhere, spitting anywhere and smoking anywhere. There are certain penalties for those who will be caught violating those laws. Anything for the betterment of my city I will support fully.

Taxes are enough for the city. Because of taxes we have good facilities. The taxes that people pay is more than enough actually. By the time being the taxes rises due to popularity demand of humans. Why do people pay taxes you ask? Where does it go? Well, the money you pay in taxes goes to many places. In addition to paying the salaries of government workers, your tax also help to support common resources, such as police and firefighters. Tax money helps to ensure the roads you travel on are safe and well-maintained.

Now that there's a lot that's happening to the world, it is quite easy to contribute something in society, especially now that we have social media. So, what I will do is to make some tutorial videos on how to enter the world of cryptocurrencies and what activities can people do that involves cryptocurrencies. I think I can contribute to society that way because I am helping them to find ways of source of income.

All I can say is, I can help in our city by simply following what is right and avoiding what is wrong. Good question! Every time I walk in my city I see people violating the rules of a que, so I would just walk and ask them to stand in the proper order and wait for their turn. I see that happening in a bus, in a shop, in a bank, everywhere where people have to wait until their turn arrives. And that annoys me. I wish I could really improve that in my city and community.  :-\

By doing such kind of work that can help the city, such as following the rules and regulations of the city, being a citizen of that city thats your first work to do, you are the one who is capable of doing that as a good citizen.

Every person who loves the place in which he lives, comes to the idea that it is necessary to make his place better. if you are the head of the transport company and you have equipment for construction, create a park where moms can walk with children, children will play on the playgrounds. if everyone who has what he has in abundance gave to his city, we would have the most beautiful and clean city, when you do something yourself, you will not be littering in this place.

In india in my city, there are many beggars begging; i feel so bad for them and i conducted a camp to donate free food and clothing to them
