On Twitter (been compromised?) they twitter.com/etherdelta suddenly claim the new address is etherdelta*.com

Weird reason: "Github (where EtherDelta is hosted) is down right now. Please keep calm and don't panic everyone."

Wow. Amazing if you think about how much is deposited and traded on that site.

There are tokens worth hundreds of millions of dollars deposited on there and people can't access it now.

How to know the .com domain is legit? Is it transparent in any way? I won't be using the new link for sure until I have an idea what's going on here

Scary indeed. Hopefully the .com is the real deal and everything will be ok. I also am waiting for some other confirmations before proceeding.

I liked Etherdelta but this is not acceptable and I really need to know what is going on.

Yes, the website was down a few hours ago and now it is available again, you can check that on this website: https://etherdelta.com. I think this website is a solid exchange, do not worry about your funds.

No the original site is not available again and the source code on Github neither
I can't blindly trust a new dot com domain just because that is claimed on Twitter

Best to wait until an official statement by Github, I can't believe they were down or suddenly deleted EtherDelta's repository

Either I, didnt tried to access the site with that domain since i dont really trust up on the things which are being said randomly and as you said its much better to wait for official announcements on Github. This thing do really give me some worry since i do stored some big amounts on the site i didnt expect that it would go down for now.Hope they would be up soon.

Etherdelta.com . I think it's legit, otherwise my ETH on there would be gone, but everything is still there , ETH and other coins.

I've visit the new site it's working well on me, but I have not tried to start a trade there. Yes be better to wait another statement from Github whether it's true or not.

I would say it seems legit.

2. https://twitter.com/etherdelta is not the official etherdelta twitter account and older posts are part of an elaborated scam

If this is real I'm struck for words. The only good thing about this is that everyone's funds can be withdrawn due to the smart contract. For now, lets not jump the gun and wait for an official statement on github. Still, I can't see Etherdelta getting away if they actually intended to do so.

Safest thing to do is to avoid etherdelta.com and just access etherdelta.github old wallet via another interface (such as MEW) and transfer back to main wallet. Then waiting until the matter is clarified. Anyway there's a chanche half of us were trading MTH and it's such a shame we don't be able to trade it until another exchange adds it (no I won't try mercatox).

Man would be crazy to see EtherDelta down. They had a nice volume yesterday, because of aventus trading launch.
I have some aventus coins and i was very wary and didnt signed up there. And im glad now, that I havent done this. I hope all you guys get your coins back and etherdelta is going to be alive again

Just got alarmed by this post and went to take a look at Eherdelta.com cos' i have severals tokens stored there.
But sincerely everything looks fine to me..the site is on and working..

Wasn't a joke. Was down for real. Now all good but every now and then all sort of stuff happens like recently xss exploit

the orderbook,the chart trades etc are no loading since weeks agos,i was trying but there is no way :-[

By reading this topic I instantly lost two years of my life.  Is this domain validity and confirmed? The whole day site has downs in the work. My tokens are all there, nothing missing at the moment.
