Monero seems to be the one that is trusted and although it has some issues it still seems to be fairly secure. With it's low volume and high fees it actually makes monero quite traceable currently. A real privacy coin should be using zero knowledge proofs (Zcoin, Zencash, Zcash currently). Miners can also collude to reveal transactions in monero apparently**. This offers the potential for a honey pot. Cryptonote is also another point of failure. If it breaks, all transaction history is visible, whereas with Zencash/Zcoin you need to break sha256 itself. I think these coins and the underlying take are currently underappreciated and overlooked due to inferior hype coins like Dash, Monero, PIVX etc. Afterall, Zcash is continually listed as a blue chip alt but the coin is still under half a billion cap. hodl patiently. Obviously, coins with lower mcaps have potential for bigger gains. It is important to diversify in many good and promising coins and not put it all in one or two coins.
