Title: D3 miner power needs?
Post by: costapete on September 09, 2017, 02:34:02 AM
AWP+++ provides 1200w at 110v   and 1600w at 220v

is dedicated circuts 110v 15amp breakers for each AWP+++ runing a single D3

or
220v with two AWP++ running two D3 on one 20 amp breaker    a better plan??

In the long run, the more 220 circuits you can start using the better off you'll be.

220 x 20A = 4400watts.  de-rated to 80% for 100% duty cycle = 3520 continuous watts of load on a single circuit.

2 D3's and an L3+ would put you at about 3200 watts.

on the 120 / 15A route,  1440 watts per circuit max, so one miner per circuit no matter what.

May I ask how you intend to deal with the heat generated?
