This is my second such transaction. The first went equally well. Hopefully this bodes well for the future of Americans exchanging fiat for BTC. The direct bank transfer via ACH is only available via withdrawal from CampBX (OP was buying coins). At most, it costs you $0.25 regardless of the size. Beats the banks every day.

I use them as well and they are very secure and the extra plus is that they are U.S.-based. Arbitrage between Gox and Campbx is fun if you keep your eyes open for just the right chance.

The order book is thin so it's not a great trading platform yet, but you have to start somewhere and I imagine we'll see more activity as former Goxers who like Dwolla migrate over. |
