Title: To all hodlers
Post by: p0peji on September 09, 2017, 01:33:36 PM
Dear hodlers, I have some junk products to sell you, all you have to do is bring in more people to buy your stuff and you have to buy my junk at a premium. Doesn't this sound like an amazing opportunity to buy a Lambo? I will be the first one to buy a Lambo though, you just have to hodl  ;D

you have no understanding of supply and demand and a currency!

before 8th century AD Japanese were using things like Arrow heads and Rice as currency

https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/1/10/Japan_commodity_money_before_the_8th_century.jpg/1200px-Japan_commodity_money_before_the_8th_century.jpg

something like Arrow heads sounds ridiculous now, but it was in demand so it had value. if your junk products have any demand or a growing demand they can gain value.
some idiot with no understanding of demand in 7th century AD would have called Arrow heads or rice junk too. but they gained value as the demand for them rose. and some day someone traded 1 arrow head for the latest carriage with 4 horses to carry it ;)

I won't buy your Lambo.
I will buy bitcoin, ethereum, dash, zcoin.
Something has value because people measure its advantages, the usability, not only junk.
Cryptocurrencies has value because people believe it's worth, different case with the first digital currency, supply and demand make sure the value keep growing, because it really has usability as better monetary system.

There is no organized marketing campaign for Bitcoin, hodlers do not promote it on national TV or mainstream media, some of us might tell our friends and family about Bitcoin, others keep it quiet. Regardless, Bitcoin's growth is too big to be explained by multi-level marketing theory. The reason why it's growing is because more and more people become convinced that it's actually valuable, because it delivers all what it has promised - decentralization, immutability, resistance to attacks, total financial freedom. People are convinced by Bitcoin itself, not by its hodlers.

If you think Bitcoin is a junk, then you are being too much undervaluing because that ^junk^ itself proved many times to be worth more than your so-called "Lambo" by going from $0.01 to a whopping 5k and I bet this will become true and you will regret why you didn't buy Bitcoins but Lambo. Bitcoins have an intrinsic valuation that gets inflated while more and more people join the party, and you know what? It's just the beginning.

Ironic, you want to say bitcoin is a titan scam but people already knew it's not. We see lots of economy professors are investing in bitcoin. They also explain bitcoin on tv shows. Then saying it's a junk is only invalid.

I wouldnt want to say the protocol is junk, because it is really innovative stuff, the coin however is completely worthless.

That is not what the market thinks. It has attributed it value of around $70 Bn. For a "completely worthless" coin, that is a fabulous market cap. The protocol is definitely awesome, but none of the copy cats have come close to this market cap.

if you really thought that bitcoin is "completely worthless" and "junk" then you wouldn't have been here in first place. it is pretty simple!

you don't see me hanging around altcoin forums such as
https://litecointalk.io
https://forum.ethereum.org/
https://www.reddcointalk.org
....
because I have no interest nor any investment in any of them long enough for me to want to waste my precious time hanging in any of these places. I know they exist simply because I goggled a couple of the top of my mind and I have seen they exist in the past 3 years.

and you have been around in this forum from at least 2013 ;)

Just sell what you think junk at my buy order below $4k on bittrex and I am quite sure you will regret when I will sell that same junk at over $100k within next 5 years.  ;D

No new buyers needed, just sell your cryptos to all of us (holders)....

I'm also passionate about super cars, but for me, it's something too expensive, I really can not afford to buy it, or it's too wasteful, I have a lot to spend. spend more. A luxury car is not something that I am aiming for.

Everything that has a lot of demand will have an amazing value, just like it is happening with cryptocurrency. A example of this is Ethereum Classic, that is a very useless coin but people is still buying it because they think it will have the price that the original ethereum has, and this is happening with a lot of new ICO's and altcoins that are new on the market, they all make the same promise to their investors, give them a lot of profit.

Much better words that has been modified by Jimbo.  :D This sounds that this guy has a lot of hate to the hodlers. I'm thinking on how much he has right now on his stash, are you also one of those people that sold their bitcoins earlier when the price was quite low? Don't worry man, I'm also one of it but I don't have the hate but only love.  8)

Doing both those it hurts that much that I've catch a lot of falling knives. But I have a strong faith with btc and these news will stop very soon. So what you do now, are you holding now or did catch some knives or you did threw some or most of your knives?

It's been a while since the forum was scattered with shit threads, trolling about bitcoin. I guess this kind of dump is going to signal more & more of it.

*Sigh*
