http://www.em.avnet.com/en-us/design/drc/Pages/Xilinx-Spartan-6-FPGA-LX9-MicroBoard.aspx it's not very powerful but it can be a lot of fun to play around with... if your brother has the patience to find and install the programs. Title: Re: Please sell me 1 USB stick.....bitcoin miner Post by: costapete on May 26, 2013, 02:49:59 PM Jb. That looks interesting...what else do you know about the fpga. Speed? And difficulty setting up?

Title: Re: Please sell me 1 USB stick.....bitcoin miner Post by: jdbtracker on May 26, 2013, 03:27:37 PM I've never used that unit, but the software to set it up is included and you'll simply need to find a spartan 6 mining program. It won't be more than a few megahashes no more than 6, but still better than hashing with a cpu.

You are shooting yourself in the foot unless you continually throttle yourself to no more than 51% of the current combined hashing capability. And all it is at this point is a promise. That's nuts...
