Title: [ANN] Healthchain: Health ecosystem design from a Stanford Educated psychiatrist
Post by: topgubsilicon on September 09, 2017, 07:04:10 PM
Health chain has been designed by Vidushi Savant, MD to know more about her: https://profiles.stanford.edu/vidushi-savant

Whitepaper

Pre sale date

The contract is going through an audit. Legal advice is being taken if KYC and accredited investor check for US token buyers are needed.

As soon as the audit/legal review is finished the presale date will be announced.

I was going to make this announcement after the audit/legal review was over. But seeing the snake oil being sold by medical industry ICO's I decided to make the announcement now.

Before you buy tokens for a team proclaiming to change the medical industry please make sure they have real doctors on their team.

I am looking to add people to my team who can help me spread the word about health chain. So please PM me.

Feel free to ask any questions.

Why need ICO? Instead of just launch the coin? If this idea really that good?

That is a very good question.

The token sale is being used to create the network effect. The health ecosystem is very complex and there are a lot of entrenched interests. To break down the ecosystem one side of the market needs to be incentivized.

Only when one side of the market comes to health chain will the other side of the market come.

For e.g.

In US you need a prescription from a doctor to get medication from pharmacy. Pharmacies will not integrate with the HealthChain API's if there are not enough patients posting their prescriptions on the Health chain network.

The patients will not post their prescription on the HealthChain network if there are no pharmacies already bidding on prescriptions posted on the HealthChain network.

By incentivizing the patients with say 5 HealthCoins every time a prescription is posted on the health chain network till we reach 1000 prescriptions every day in every zip code of the USA will be a way to incentivize the patients to post their prescriptions on the health chain network.

In our estimates by making pharmacies bid on the prescriptions patients can save billions of dollar each year.

80% of the tokens will go to the health chain foundation run by a team of 3 professors who will use the tokens to break the existing entrenched interests. A lot of these things have been explained by Dr. Savant at the Bay area ethereum meetup video that I posted.

I hope I have answered your question. Feel free to ask more questions,

Errrr, what are the real benefits of holding the coin? Do you really understand the role of blockchain in your value proposition?
