Title: Is Bitsgear.com a scam?
Post by: methheadonwheels on September 09, 2017, 11:34:48 PM
Is this site a scam? I just spent .7 BTC on a miner from this site and I didn't get a confirmation email. I looked up and some pages said that the site was legit and some said it was a scam.

Bulgaria?  Come on man!  Use your brain!  You just lost .7 BTC.  Next time only order from the manufacturers.  Bitmain and Avalon.

I am afraid you just lost your Bitcoins. That is just a normal wordpress or joomla website which anyone can create. The cost to setup such website is really cheap. In the contact details just an email which again can be setup during the time you setup the web, no real phone number and from a country from Balkans. What you have done is translated in suicide to your bitcoins. Sorry but next time ask here before spending a big amount of bitcoin and not the other way around.

Their prices are too good to be true.

And Bulgaria is well known place for most crimes/scams in EU as it's the poorest country in the region. Also they don't have a working court system. So even if you report them, most probably nothing will happen.

Just next time order from official manufacturer's site. You could forget about your 0.7BTC

Where did you even search. If you google that, it leads you to bitcointalk threads and pages that says its fake. If you're going to buy antminers why didn't you just go to bitmain. You just lost .7 btc for a simple mistake.
